Great Movie!!!! i was 10 years old when it came out... The rollercoaster is The Revolution at Six Flags magic mountain in Valencia Calif near L.A. i ve been there .. its a great ride ... This movie takes me back....
Big Boy, Big Boy! Harry Calder am Start und Helen Hunt noch sweet und young.
ein super movie. Timothy Bottoms sieht eigentlich sehr nett aus. Aber in all den anderen movies later mußte ich immer an diesen movie denken. Smart, smart.
This was classic 70's and one of my favorite junk flicks. I can't beleive I still would go on the Revolution at Six flags magic mountain after this. I still love Rollercoasters inspite of it. lol
WOW! I knew Luke Zamperini when he was with a band called the Scooters (really really nice guy, btw).......very cool to see some video on him when he was still with Sparks.....very cool indeed!
Irwin Allen or Quinn Martin? Oh man and the Roller Coaster part kept me on the edge of my seat. When the cop slipped I couldn't help but say ..'no hey watch it fella don't fall'. And George Segal eating cotton candy was really footage of him during breaks from filming that were just as riveting as the film itself so they put it in.
Nice to see Ron Mael do his Pete Townsend imitation although it's hard to smash a piano.
A shitty movie by 70's standards. A MASTERPIECE by todays standards.
Sorry to be a fussbudget but that actor eating the candy floss is Timothy Bottoms not George Segal. Segal's the one trying to bum a cigarette. I know this cause I used to have a crush on Timothy Bottoms when I was a kid. Now that I'm older and wiser I've a crush on Ron Mael... Nice to see him get aggressive though he probably would have preferred smashing the cameras rather than the piano stool. Sparks rule!!!
No kidding. "Ron & I played red herrings but I promise it wasn't us who stunk up the movie. Meanwhile, our future president walked around eating cotton candy. We dedicated "Big Boy" & "Fill'er Up" to him."
timothy bottoms wouldnt stand a chance in 2012 to do this......in 1977 there was no cctv cameras. i think its now safe to ride the rollercoasters.

Movies like this and Fox News are exactly why we live in a police state today. Trading freedom and privacy for safety and security.

I only included around twelve minutes of the film - those that involve Sparks.
Are you a fan of Air Supply? My friend CJ is their new drummer.

lol sure looks like it. I like how he gets up at 2:09, turns around and just stares at the stool.
You already know it's coming haha.

LOL the pyro effect in just the right time. If it had been a band known for using pyro effect then this scene wouldn't have worked so well.
