I think they purposely heated up way too much oil so overdramatize the effect (see how much dumped out when they put it in there?). That being said this can still happen with the correct amount of oil in the fryer. I LOVE watching turkey frying eff-up videos. people are stupid. LOLOL!

it's amazing how the hose from the propane tank stands up to the heat of the flames. With enough time would the hose will melt shooting propane all over?

The entire damned point here is DO NOT DEEP FRY A FROZEN TURKEY. That's why there was a violent explosion of grease, which in turn caused a grease fire.

If you're going to post the video that shows DEATH BY TURKEY at least show how the hell to avoid it.

@cmeisinger being frozen isnt the only concern... if you have too much oil, the turkey frozen or not, will displace the oil and make it overflow to the flame. if the general population paid the least bit of attention in their high school chem classes, we would have no need for our fire dpts to make these demonstrations
