Hey I've used this app. It's very efficient but the problem is once you log in with your number then it uses gprs even if I exit from this app. I also changed its settings and gave priority to wifi but it's still the same.. Help me with that. Thank you

@xodreaming Oh yes, that's definitely a must! Put it as +(countrycode)(phone number) like +65912345678. I add that format for all my contacts, even for local numbers so that when I travel, it will be less hassle.

@benlwyy Yes, they need to have whatsapp installed as well else you won't be able to see them online and you wont be able to chat with them. Usually if the person is offline, the person won't receive the message and will receive offline messages when she goes back online

@dkhluv85 I don't see it in the list, but I think it shouldn't be a problem since the N900 is a newer phone. Head to whatsapp . com without the spaces and click on download and choose Nokia from the list. Download it and just follow what the instructions tell you :-)

whatsapp is for people who has no idea what skype/msn/aim/etc... is

@stantang I have skype, nokia chat which supports msn and gtalk but whatsapp is special because one doesn't need to have an account with skype, msn, gtalk and all the other instant messages. It just pulls out the contact from your sim card or your phone, which is mentioned in the video :-)
