  • I dont know if you lot have realised, that the asian dude who is acting as the live dummy is actually drugged out so that he cant counter or actually throw a proper punch. And that is the right way, always try to drug you opponent out of this world and then and only then attempt one of this man's bullshitsu moves. Oh by the way if you were thinking of head butting your opponent, then only do so if you are certain that you have no brain that will be damaged. Good luck with ur trip to the hospital

  • @toofanibreeze clownshoe

  • This seems like a good technique. The only problem with it is that if he strikes before you strike than there is no way that your going to make contact with his face before he smashes your arm or head. I think it is necessary to block the attack.

Today I uploaded a video explaining what to do in the same situation .... its a bit different, I would say a bit more reliable. Check it out tell me what you think.

    :-)

  • @howtokravmaga

Nice stuff. I'm not really a big fan of locks myself, but hey, if it's logical, quick, puts you in a good striking position without compromising balance and can be pulled of under high stress, I say go for it. It's nice to see how youtube comments have evolved from blatant name calling, to well thought out conversations about technique, scenarios and applications. I always tell people, if you got a better way show me, I'd love to learn something new.

  • Hell I like to do that too the open palm strike to the chin, it's not as powerful as as an overhand right but there's smaller risk of breaking your hand. I sometimes couple it with a knee to the stomach.

  • The eye gouge will usually grab get attention.

  • this fuckin shit's stupid

  • @j1m1l1 u don´t believe it works??? cuz it works mate.

  • lol all kinds of fucky things to his arms XD

  • "your gonna grab his wrist somehow", very instructable, more simply grab his wrist and get him into a katate tori ni, hell be sorry he ever thought about grabbing you

  • You don't chop first because when you slap his ear and side of face, it disorients and paralyzes your opponent for a few seconds.

  • why not just chop first

  • i hope the other guy gets paid alot.

  • This is My Vid guys, check out MMA4SelfDefense com see all my MMA+Kudo Fights, Submissions, Instructional Vids, Interviews with UFC Fighters, Kali Stick and Knife Fighting etc. IQ is 153, thanks

  • Wow, this guy's got some balls teaching teach street self defense? I would not even give this guy a yellow belt. He made about 10 mistakes in a move that has one attack? He might be able to do some simple sport stuff, but he should not venture into anything as deep as self defense. You Tube = Weak Dicks.

  • @streeteffective lets see him fight some one who knows his shit and is the same size lol he will get his ass beat why would you go thought all that if you got the elbo it makes no sense i would have gone for the rerchoke(6 year vet mma fighter )

  • @streeteffective agreed!!!

  • sweet takedown the head curling towards the head parrys the punch even if it connects

  • That's a sweet take down if you have the muscle and balance for it... But after just barely blocking that incoming punch, you might be a little too dazed to execute it. Idk, I haven't been exposed to a lot of standing jujitsu techniques, but that block didn't look like it would be very effective to me. (Also, I have no sound... so forgive me if he explained it further audibly... just going off visual observations here.)

  • Its all good to talk crap when your behind the safety convience of a computer screen.

  • Wow, this guy sure is a stupid mother fucker.

  • @goku08057 too bad he could whoop your ass

  • @bearsfan213 too bad I could give two shits.

  • grabbing a fish in water. LOL. This guys IQ= 250

  • After you strike to the face, Why wouldn't you grab his right elbow, step to your left and throw him over your shoulder?

  • lmao

  • What if the guy grabs your left arm with his right and tries to throw a forearm in your face... what's the defense to that?

  • wow, actually a usefull vid from expertvillage for once!

  • This is my Video guys, go to ww MMA4SelfDefense com , I've trained 24 yrs and with many of the world's best MMA Fighters and Grapplers, fought in Japan 4 times etc., bounced for 13 yrs, defended myself in 10 on 1 attack and a 2 on 1 Stick attack! I'm also an Actor (Couples Retreat, Little Fockers), Stuntman (the robot "Metro" in the upcoming "Real Steel" w/Hugh Jackman and once doubled Stallone! Look at my site and MMA and Grappling Highlights and Advanced MMA+Submissions Vidsunder DanTheWolfman

  • thats a good one , i like that i ll practice this one

  • hahahahahahahaa

  • I think its good, but their are some things you may want to change, first of all grabbing isnt smart, it can lead to broken thumbs, that why we latch always. The lock in the end is incorrect. From that position the attacker can still strike, and easily hit the groin (vital point). What the instructer should have done is, get the attacker on their shoulder, not their back, so that if he does go to striek he would only put the lock on himself harder. Overall very good though.

  • @ThePizzazz monkey uproots bamboo, look it up, it would get him off your chest and make him land hard on his back. I used it against a judoka and she couldn't believe what just happened. and in this post you pretty much repeated what I said in my post but with different symantics, disagree with someone who is actually contradicting you.

  • @alansmithy85 Sorry but how am I saying the same things as you? You say the defence is bad, I said I think its good. I disagree with part of your comment but agree with the rest. Also the instructor is showing the technique in the sence that the attacker is a regular person with no martial arts experience. So he shows it as it happens 90% of the time, we always see them big round house swings and usually grabbing near the neck area.

  • @alansmithy85 ofcourse if you know martial arts you can reverse it, but if you actually do know martial arts you wouldnt grab like that in the first place. Also you must consider speed and body movement, if the technique is done correctly with speed you will not be able to reverse it unless you know what technique your oppoment is using before he starts doing it. Also i am not attackign you or anything, so do not take it that way.

  • oh what a piece of shit

  • Lo pregunto nuevamente; este video está titulado como"jiu-jitsu"; pero ¿no es jeet kune do?

  • this guy has no clue what his talking about

  • the defense is bad, a chopping down motion would cover the whole side. the take down is effective though, but you could also hook the back of the knee and get the same result for half the energy.

  • @alansmithy85 No, the strike is at a vital point. How many people have you seen recover instantly from a hit to the eyes? As long as hes strike lands before the attackers he is fine, and it will because he is striking straight while the attacker is doing a round house. Once he hits the eyes, he should strike just above the elbow though, not on the elbow (vital point 8, front body) .

  • @alansmithy85 hook the back of the knee for half the energy? That's the most exhausting move I have ever heard. You ain't hooking anybody that has you grabbed at an arm's length away. You need to shorten him and cutting downward into his arm is one of the better ways to do it. Following up with a headbutt or using a wrist lock is far better than try to trip someone down.

  • if the guy cant hit your face... your going to get one in the ribs... and that can damage you worse

  • This is my Vid put up by 3rd Party! Check out my "Dan "The Wolfman" Theodroe Advanced MMA+Grappling Playlist", Very advanced stuff in there! Crucifix, Executioner Neck Crank Against the Cage that almost no one knows, Exorcist from the back, Catch Ankle Lock, 2 on 2 Ankle Lock, straight blasting for MMA, Guard Trapping etc.

  • someone is going to get their ass kicked trying this in a street fight.

  • Only an idiot would ever get involved in a street fight.

  • wus

  • well the problem is... usually when someone grabs you by the shirt, it's because he is bigger and his reach is longer than your reach, so it's really hard to do something when you can't reach his face or anything you can just try to disable the arm that is holding you (if your fast enough and the punch from the other arm doesn't come)

  • This is my vid, hope you enjoyed it, ww. MMA4SelfDefense com to purchase the 2 Hr DVD, Keep in mind there are lots of options in different situations and the vids should be viewed all together for a full understanding. I've been training 24 yrs with TOP guys, bounced 13, had some real street experiences, fought top MMA Fighters etc. I'm also an Actor and Stuntman, in Couples Retreat and have doubled Stallone!

  • not a proportional application of force, hence no self defense

  • for beginers and funky people is amazing difficult

  • lol "kick him in the head" probably not the best advice.

  • could be the best advice. haha

  • if you want to knock him out. Well then it is.

  • Depends on the scenario really doesn't it. 4 against 1, you would kick him in the head, 1 on 1 you should be thinking of an escape route.

  • good vid nice basic and to the point,

  • not bad

  • Why is it that in US culture only men use palm open handed strikes while women only punch or kick?

  • maybe men watch too much wwe and less of mma.hehe

  • This is some of the best stuff i've seen on here. Common sense, not to fancy, and it works. You don't have to study for years and years to master this stuff. I'ts a concept, and a mindset, and can be done with a very limited amount of practice time.

  • ,,,, i wouldnt say that but it is mainly common sense

to perfect it you do have to study for years

any ju-jit-su / judo move takes atleast a thousand of each move to be done before you can perfect a move

  • The flying arm bar is also another move to go for.

  • ya im pretty sure 30 year old women can nail a flying armbar easy :). No offense i been in jujitsu for 8 months

still cant get the flying arm bar or triangle down..

  • Ok nice stuff, now all I need is someone to practice this.

  • for me it looks like he would get the first hit and couldnt defend it by just raising his shoulder a bit

  • You are absolutely correct in that thinking. That's why these videos are so horrible. I take ju jitsu and can't even begin to explain how wrong this technique is being done in this scenario....

  • Great control technique... no need to bust the guys teeth in just control the situation, take him to the ground and submit him ( the attacker will get the hint)

  • this guy is jokes... 'maybe a kick in the head?'

  • i did this last halloween when some kid grabbed my face. but i did it wrong. i grabbed his right hand with my right hand and pulled his head down with my left, still worked though.

  • "grab his hand somehow" hmm this guy seems reliable

  • good technique but this ain't the "movies"

  • its somewhat like kenpo beginning

  • good clean simple jujitsu guys great stuff....

  • this technique can work agianst bigger guys then u?

  • One of the first defence move you learn and one of the best to. no showoff-vid straight n good. 5/5

  • this guy is very good straight to the point with no shit

  • I love these vids

  • sick video broo

  • LOL "Finish him anyhow---Maybe throw him down with some punches--*best part* AND MAYBE KICK THEM IN THE HEAD; LOOL

  • whats ridiculous with that?

  • Did he really say to be borrowing a page from Wing Chun? Who are you and what did you do to the real jujitsuka? :)

  • lol this is so unnecessary because if sum 1 grabs u by the shirt 'n trys to give u a hook duck n hit 'em with a meannnnn uppercut

  • fatality?

  • other whys very nice

  • wat if the guys taller then u lol

  • touche

  • nah

  • u grab the hand SOMEHOW LOL!

  • dude this make me want to fight everyone haha

  • "allows me to do all kinds of funky things to his arms" haha!!! what kinds of things..?

  • i like this part jijutsu rulesssssssssssssssssssssss

  • All kinds of funky things to finish him off with... Kick him in the head.. haha

  • what if its the other way around and the skinny guy is tryin to do a funky chop on the fuckin 250 pound beast??

  • Then you can still try this, if you don't have another instinct you'd rather trust. You can't really make the situation worse.

  • Bring it, I would fuck you up

  • "Do all these funky moves. like kick him in the head"

ROFL! That's soo funny and cool.

  • good teq. 10/10

  • funkey!
