As in the case of entertainers, the appearance of the Thunderbird pilots attracts more people to this abusive cruel. They should be well above this, especially when the performances are paid for with our tax dollars. They give the abusers undeserved credibility. 2008FSXThunderbirds: This is not a video that we wanted to make. We contacted the Thunderbirds and tried to get them to not take part in the Cheyenne rodeo, as it is very hard on the animals. They chose to remained aligned with this animal abuse again in 2008. Sorry, it is what it is.

Animal Cruelty and Abuse is WRONG. Rodeos are dangorous.

As an air show fan, I'm standing up for the T-birds, though. What they do, is that air shows assign the team to make appearences places (not the T-birds preference normally), and thier goal is to be in a front of alot of people, so they can work with thier recruiting efforts. I'm SURE that they don't push in animal cruelty, just making themselves look good on where they are. They never did anything, just what the Air Force told them.

By making a personal appearance at the rodeo above and beyond the air show in Cheyenne they are lending legitimacy to the rodeo and everything that happens there. The Air Force and the Thunderbirds should be better than that.

Why are you attacking sponsors and such of CFD rather than contacting CFD itself to do something about this? The sponsors, Thunderbirds, and the like can't control what happens at a rodeo.

Frontier Days is very popular and important for the locals; it's been for over 100 years, and it won't "disappear" anytime soon, so you should get to the source. Thunderbirds also had their first show here.
