what i am sayin is diesel mileage compared to gas mileage... jetta 1.9 tdi = 40's jetta gas 1.8 turbo = high 20's... Now lets take Ford, 7.3L powerstroke = 14-18, Gas 5.8L = 12-15 ( much smaller engine as well) My Cummins diesel is a 5.9L I get 20mpg's in town... and if i hooked a hitch and reciever to the back of the car im sure it could haul some kind of trailer. I've seen it before!
