Destiny Hooker is going to play the next season in Italy at "Scavolini Pesaro Team" which is the last Italian championship. I'm really happy! Destiny is a huge talent, and now I have the possibility to see her in Italy. Wow!!!!

this was a great match good job to both teams... i like lindsay licht but this year she is kind of slacking as last year she was the one who gave texas a hard time but this year it was destinee hooker...

although nebraska didn't make it as far this past season, they will be one of the huge favorites next season, losing only 1 starter, middle blocker Kori Cooper. They will also gain UCLA transfer and daughter of John Cook, 5-8 setter Lauren Cook, the 2009 national FOY. nebraska will also gain S/RS Megan Broekhuis. plus, penn state is losing Four Time First Team All-American Megan Hodge, and Three Time All-American Alisha Glass. Texas is losing all-americans Ashley Engle and Destinee Hooker.

Texas fans are so proud of our horns!! Its hard to loose but to know you lost 3-2, 15-13 in the final set to an undefeated, back to back national champion penn st gives a texas fan pride anyways! We LOVE the seniors and all they did while at texas and its sad to see it end like this. Hooker, engle and kisner are amazing and they will be missed! Hookem Horns! \m/ Great season!

Yeah!!! PSU 3-peat CHAMPS! It was an unbelievable match! PSU was behind 2 sets, but they fought back and came away w/ the win! Hats off to Texas for bringin their game. But u have to give it to PSU for not giving up! Woohooo!

i definitely think Penn state will stay undefeated this year. Only cuz they have Blair Brown. She is unstoppable but doesn't get better stats than Hodge only because she plays right side most of the time. But she can hit the best out of anyone i've ever heard of.

I love Blair Brown, she's amazing and very nice. We met her parents in Tampa and they too are cool people. She's even better in person. Hooker dominated though in the tournament.

Texas can defently beat Penn state this year. I hope they do! I have to work that night but I will be recording it on my DVR! I think next year Stanford, and nebraska will be the top 2 teams. Stanford will have seniors alix, cassidy, and the new setter with middles that will get the job done, and nebraska will have mueler, werth, the setter, right side, and libero returning. Can't wait till next year! Ha

I completely agree. They will be the top 2 for sure. Nebraska will be amazing for sure, I hope Stanford picks it up, they have the goods to win it all they just need to mesh more. Texas will be rebuilding again but will still be a good team.

2ndassistant: Don't get bitter, Nebraska played a great game, just too many errors. Can't do that against a team like Texas. While I am a Longhorn fan all the way, I respect the cornhusker volleyball team. They will be a force next year while the Longhorns will be sort of re-building. I hope we play Penn St., it will be a great final. TEXAS FIGHT!
