@ihaveabox Well I have broken a couple of snare heads before, and a couple of bass drum heads, but never Tom heads. When I used zildjian cymbals I would go through them like crazy. I switched to trx and haven't broken one yet. :) it's been about 6 months now.

@BrandonGH5 DON'T SELL IT. Trust me, you'll regret it. That thing is a beaut. And it probably sounds a bit better than the SJC. Plus, getting 2 grand for a used 3 piece will be very difficult. Regardless of it being a DW. I bought my Tama Starclassic which had a 24" bass drum, 13/18" toms for $650...
