Ömer Faruk Tekbilek (born 1951, Adana, Turkey), also known as Omar Faruk Tekbilek, is a Turkish flautist. He is known for his performances with the ney in a Sufi style. He also plays the Oud, Saz, Zurna and sings in many of his recorded work. Tekbilek is the recipient of the "Best Artist of the Turkish Music Award 2003" from the "Turkish Writers Association".

Her parents came to Greece in 1922 from Asia minor with the exhange of the polulations.

Apparently, they taught her the Turkish language as child. because that is the only age to learn a language without accent.

Her family was in living in the (Greek part( of Turkey and were kicked out in 1924.

One million Greeks were also chased out of Turkey at the same time. This is a fact and I do not want to hear any arguments to the conntrry.

In any event, we are happy to have Grykeria today .... she also sings in Hebrew (Not Jewish! ... religion and not a language.)
