Hey! For this particular video I used a Canon HG10 hard disk HD camcorder that I bought at Costco (you can find them priced as low as 500 on the internet). For a lot of my other "pointless" video work I used a Canon Sure Shot SD 950 IS Digital Elph (sometimes with a waterproof case - like for all of my pointless "swimming/snorkelling in waterfalls" or "cave snorkeling" videos from the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia), a Nokia N93i (3.5 MB in my pocket for every opportunity), a Sony DV camcorder, etc.
i have been handfeeding the squirrels in my yard for years and i know that if you forget them,even for a day,they will remind you not to forget.i did once and i had at least 6 of them banging on the windows and hanging off the screens chittering their fool heads off.truely smart critters.
thats awesome, to bad you didnt have alot of bread or unsalted peanuts. i bet the whole community of them would be swarming there. its crazy how the others see the one confronting you and they join in. animals are truly amazing.
