they are the exact same EXCEPT ps3 has better gameplay (hosted servers) xbox has better community (party system). PS3 has blu ray, xbox has dvds.

If you have the money i suggest you get both, because PS3 ^^as mentioned God of War/Uncharted, and xbox has GoW, Halo, FORZA...love forza. both systems are good, end the hate, and start asking for a multi platform game between PS3 and Xbox.

Netflix on the PS3 doesn't upscale. If a video is 480p, it displays at 480p, instead of upscaling to 720p, 1080i, or 1080p. Likewise, 720p doesn't upscale to 1080p either.

The PS3 Netflix doesn't seem very intuitive to me. Images seem to load laughably slow and HD content has a tendency to hiccup or crash at times. Not to mention you need a disc in the PS3 to stream?

@cubby, the reason why you have to use a disc on the PS3 and not the 360 is not due to one company being ahead of the other. Microsoft and Neflix have a contractual agreement stating that the 360 would be the only console to support built-in Netflix streaming. For the ps3, they can get away with the legal binds of this contract by using a disc to stream netflix, until the contract expires that is.

On ps3 ? Yes . Just contact netflix and they'll send you a disc , free of charge . If you have 360 , they you'll have to have xbl gold acount , which means 50$ a year extra . I think it's pretty obvious which one you would choose . Regardless of whAt console you own . If you think xbl is still worth 50$ per year then it's your choice . IMO , 20$ would have been much more justifiable . once psn get crossgame chat , there's no reason for me to pay for xbl anymore .
