  • That archer at 3.55 was a bloody good shot.

  • Respects to Jeanne d'arc.

  • @BruckMahl We Normans love and respect our English cousins. And after all the English nobility came from Normandy, they are our brothers now and then. One more proof that France has always been seen as our enemy here in Normandy.

  • @jeffkodiac How can Normandy have been under French rule for 800 years when In the 14 and 15th century it was also under the rule of the Anglo-Normans from England. Was the bitch Joan of Arc burned alive with Norman wood in a Normandy under French rule? Looooooooool!

  • @Anquetil79

  • @jeffkodiac Are you talking about the French knights that lost in Agincourt against a small Anglo-Norman army? The Vikings were raping France for 200 years. Every French person has some Viking blood. And French women have always liked the Germanic men be they Franks, Scandinavians or German nazis.

Over 300 000 children born out of French women sleeping with German nazis were born in a period from 1940 to 1944.

  • @jeffkodiac

Your mother is probably fucking a German right now. Joan of Arc was for sure gang-raped by the Normans before being burned alive by quality Norman wood lol.

  • @Anquetil79

  • @jeffkodiac Your mother is not even French and neither is your father. You don't know what you are except you know you are a son of a bitch and not your "fathers" son lol. You think we Normans are not Normans because we are descendants of Scandinavians with Anglo-Saxons and Gauls? You think the French are Franks? AHAHAHAH le taré! The French look nothing like Germanic people. the French don't even exist anymore. Sarko is he French perhaps or his Italian woman looooool!

  • @Anquetil79

  • @jeffkodiac All the millions of Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese who fucked French women made the French even less Frankish than they were before lol. Not mentioning all the Poles, Russians, Jews etc. And to begin with the French had so little Frankish blood that only the extream north had a real Frankish population. You are Germanic you wish. But there might be German blood in you. After all your grandmother liked German cock like your mother ;)

  • @Anquetil79 PORTUGUESE ..... WHEN ????.... im portuguese and i dont remember us invading your country ......

  • @MATASEREANU Immigrants....immigrants.....

  • @Anquetil79 oh on that you are a little right ...but dont forget the portuguese went the almost everyone on the 1970 and did the jobs that the french didnt wanted ...

  • @Anquetil79

    Dirty speaker=Dirty mind

  • @pensivethought You forgot dirty typer.

  • @Anquetil79 But I like your accounts even if you are only half British and the rest being French. There is something mental about you that is good.

  • @jeffkodiac You can't even write proper French but I liked that you are using English like all the French "Too funny" I love it that the French are losing their surrendering language ;) And I never said we Normans were a part of the French no more than the Bretons, Flemish, Alsatians, Corsicans, Basques etc. It's below us to be French. The French hardly exist anymore. Look at the French teams in sports loooooooooooool!

  • @Anquetil79

  • @jeffkodiac MDR! This from a French nationalist who is not even French !

  • is every girl in this modern world was like Joan of arc was...the word slut would never have been created

  • Pretty overrated historical figure. She was definitely crazy and motivated, that's about it.

  • @Anquetil :-D :-D

very funny !! Normans rule France and you certainely rule normandie, good job

  • @Tousinfinis Who would like to rule the garbage that is France? We Normans have Normandy, the French only have France.

And we Normans burned the evil crazy Joan of Arc alive in beautiful Rouen.

And we will burn all the French horsains in time ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @supergordon24fan You don't know anything, you're only a little crybaby. What we know is that my Norman forefathers burned the evil mental case Joan of Arc in our beautiful country Normandy. And that the Norman population of the Norman city of Rouen were she was burned alive watched and had a laugh.

France can die but never Normandy.

  • Anquetil79 «The crazy mentally ill Jeanne did not win anything she got burned alive by us Normans.» Poor little better-than-God wannabee: She's immortal, you know it, she's stronger than the hatred that's enslaving you. She won. She completely reversed the dynamis of the 100-year-war in just one year. Seven years after she went back where she's still very conscious, the godons were out of France, as she had predicted and still are, 600 years after. Vive la petite Jehanne de France.

  • @LKloup You also believe in Santa Claus I presume, something you can't see but you just know it's there mdr!

Today in Normandy we welcome thousands of English people who settle in Normandy. And we welcome them because we share comon history and culture with them. Not mentioning we share similar blood. But the French horsains who moved to Normandy or who bought sumer houses are going back to France. So many Normans hate the French that we make the life of the French horsains intollerable. ;)

  • @LKloup You can attribute the victory to the people not so much a crazy girl.

  • If not for this crazy girl, France would not exist today.

You may attribute victory to the people, but the french people at the time simply did not care about the nobility's squabbles for power such as constituted the centennial war.

  • nice video.

  • Christ our King... She was His Saint... God's own daughter. I once did not believe... then I figured, hmmm.. I better read the new testament and see what happens. It said In SECRET ask for the Holy Spirit so I did... it said FAST in secret so I did... ask for the Living Water so I did... three weeks later I was engulfed by the Spirit of God..visions of Christ followed, of heaven, angels, hell and Satan, of where the dead go, name it. GOD is real, Christ is King ask for the HOLY SPIRIT n READ.

  • Tiens, l'idiot du village a accès à Youtube. Et il se prend pour un scandinave ? Divertissant...

  • @lesviolonsdautomne Well I wont take myself for a French for sure, I am Norman hence I have honor unlike the French ;)

  • NB NOR-MAN-DY means land of the Scandinavians AKA Northmens. Nordman in modern Norwegian ;)

Does Anquetil sound French? Nope it's a Norman family name of Scandinavian origins.

Fuck the French and fuck France ;)

  • @Anquetil79 fuck england the land of demons first

  • @Anquetil79

« NB NOR-MAN-DY means land of the Scandinavians ... »

  • @LKloup Normandy still exists and I am Norman ;) Our Norman Oil language was the language of the English kings for 300 years not the French Oil language. We still speak our Norman language even with the efforts of the French horsains to destroy it.

It is beneath a Norman to consider himself French. We are Normans, we are better than God.

  • @Anquetil79

« ... we are better than God.» Relaxe, petit asoura.

Wiki: «The most widely spoken modern Oïl language is French (oïl was pronounced [o.il] or [o.i], which has become [wi], in modern French oui).... » Quoi qu'on dise et quoi qu'on fasse, Jehanne a gagné, et elle continue aujourd'hui à gagner et l'asoura est en train de perdre and the dwarf barks: "I'm better than God", and God goes LOL and plays his puppet as the puppet wishes. You can't help it. Vive la petite Jehanne de France.

  • @LKloup The crazy mentally ill Jeanne did not win anything she got burned alive by us Normans. And people who think she was a virgin when the Norman flames got to her must be in a serious denial. Heard about the battle of Civitate were the Normans destroyed the army of the Pope Leo IX who even had with him armies from the Holy Roman German emperor and the Byzantine Emperor. After humiliating the Pope the Normans made him a prisoner. Your standinng on the sholders of Giants you little horsain ;)

  • It is not only the duty of us Normans to destroy France but of the Bretons, Flemish, Alsatians, Corsicans, Occitans, Basques and all the other people who's culture and identity has been attacked by the French foreigners. France is dying, all the signs are there. There are great times ahead of us. Let us unite and let us put down this sick and perverted animal that is France. Let us not give to the Maghrébins the honor of destroying France before we do.

    Normandy forever!

  • Normaundie Deylache !

  • No wonder we in Normandy hate the French people. Go look at my background picture people, you will see Normans with Norman flags and you will also see the British flag. But you will see no French flag around lol.

Ahah this French idiot is confusing Normandy with Neustria lol. So what next France was under the Roman emperors because it used to be Gaul? Ahah.

And this kid did not even know the difference between King of the Franks and King of France...There is a huge difference ;) The French MDR!

  • @Biloutemag MDR! The Scandinavian colonization of Normandy lasted for over one century as it was still ongoing at the reign of Richard II duke of Normandy who's mother was a Danish immigrant. Most place names in Normandy are of Scandinavian origins not Frankish after all ;) NB The Normans destroyed the kings of the Franks many times. For example Louis IV d'Outremer was made prisoner of the Normans after invading Normandy :)

  • @Biloutemag Richard I king of the Franks was humiliated also by the Normans when he tried to invade Normandy. The Normans being much less numerous destroyed the Frankish army and the king of the Franks had to flee ;) The English who delivered Normandy in the "hundred" years wars were Anglo-Normans and it was their right to take back the land of their forefathers. They also founded the university of Caen, the first university in Normandy ;)

  • @Biloutemag Norman medieval literature was always anti-French. André de Coutances and Wace are good examples of that ;) The Normans never felt love for the French who were always jealous of Normandy and the Normans and their conquests (England, Ireland, Southern Italym Sicily, Malta, Antioch and almost the Byzantine empire. A Norman started the 100 year wars by inviting the Anglo-Norman nobles to take back what was theirs. The French will always be the enemies of us Normans.

  • @Biloutemag I am proud of my Norman nation and my Norman family name Anquetil, a name of Scandinavian origins.

Fuck the French and fuck their imposed French language. Our Norman Oil language is so much more beautiful. Normandy will rise again and we will send the French horsains back home, it is repulsive to see them buy houses in Normandy. Our Scandinavian and English cousins are welcome on the other hand ;)

Bouffon !

  • @Biloutemag Speak to me in Norman you French horsain. It's disgusting enough the filthy French language was imposed on us in Normandy. But don't worry many of us still speak Norman and the numbers are growing ;)

NB there was no Normandy before the Vikings like there was no France before the Franks lol. Send the Gauls back to Southern Germany! Send the Romans back to Italy and send the Franks back to Germany! MDR!

Cachetaez derryire vos eul horsain ;)

  • @Anquetil79

French people are a mix of Gauls, ramans and Franks. Gauls originally had normandy, the it became part of roman territory, then frank.

Normans accepted to be french by setling in Normandy.

If what you say is true then I guess the people of Normandy must have revolted and conquered France ...oh wait... well they didn't but they conquered their independance right? oh wait... at least they fought for it... woops they didn't, my bad. Oh noes, Normans strikes back! We are so scared!

  • @Kamfrenchie The Normans conquered England, having destroyed the French army and humiliated the king of the Franks Henry I a few years before at the battle of Mortemer. Then the Normans conquered Wales, Ireland. They also conquered Southern Italy, Sicily, Malta, Antioch, parts of North Africa and of the Byzantine empire.

The Romans accepted to be Gaulish when they settled in Gaul? Did the French not need the Americans and British to gain their independence from the Germans? MDR!

  • @Anquetil79

Lol, it took you 2 weeks to answer, and still it seems you can't read right. If the Normans were that powerful at that time, they could have had a better deal with France :) Sorry to offend your glorious ancestors, terror of innocents peasants, masters at avoiding confrontation with any real army. But if they were that strong then France would be called Normandie right? Also how would you explain so much french words in English language?

    WW2 was a payback for yorktown =)

  • @Kamfrenchie The French language is not the origin of romance languages you clown lol. Google "Norman language" it was the language that influenced modern English because it was the language of the kings of England and the literature of the court for 300 years not French and you French can't accept that mdr. The Normans were writing the literature for the English kings in my beautiful Norman language the French in their jealousy call patois. Writers such as Wace, Béroul and André de Coutances.

  • @Anquetil79

I wrote "Normans accepted to be french by setling in Normandy." not Romans, plus romans had conquered gaul, Normans didn't.

  • @Kamfrenchie Do check out the hilarious disaster of Louis d'Outremer the king of the Franks when he tried to invade Normandy in 945. His Frankish army was destroyed and he was made prisoner of the Normans and only got back his freedom after paying a huge ransom to the Normans and giving to them his son as a hostage ;) Sorry to offend your glorious "ancestors" (Well for sure you have almost zero Frankish blood ) who could not even defend their own kings.

  • @Kamfrenchie In WW2 the French needed the British and Americans to save them. La hooooooonte MDR! Why don't you people make a video about the British and American saviors who did what the French did not want to do ;)

Also where were the French when the Normans conquered Southern Italy from the Pope, the German emperor and the Byzantine Emperor who were all united against the Normans in the Battle of Civitate? They were sitting at home powerless Lol.

  • @Anquetil79

oh wow dude, the Normans were indeed so powerful, that's why everyone in the world knows them, and why they are such an important power nowadays, and why France is part of Normandy...oh wait

Face it, if what you said was true, then Normandy would still be an important power nd France would not. Now I do believe you know quite some stuff about nowadays geopolitic so I'll let you reach the conclusion by yourself.

  • @Kamfrenchie As a Norman I don't have to try to be anything else than to be Norman but you as a French horsain have to try hard to be something else. Your Americanisation is almost perfect, this is the future of French culture, to be wannabe Americans. No wonder France is second only to the USA in its love for Mcdonalds. Dude yeah bro MDR!

  • @Kamfrenchie

The tower of London and all the other castles and churches in Britain and Ireland are Norman. Even the three lions of England are Norman.

No wonder the English king spoke my Norman language and that it was the language of literature at their court for over 300 years and not your French patois.

We even have an older literature tradition than French and you call our Norman language a patois mdr!

  • @Kamfrenchie@Kamfrenchie Again the French with statements that only exist in their Americanized minds lol.

Everybody knows about the NORMAN conquest of England in 1066, it's the most important date in British history....

Nobody ever hear of any French conquest of England on the other hand ;)

Hey bro, yo hey dude! America YEAH! Ahah...So so funny ;)

  • @Anquetil79

lol, any proof of french americanisation? Maybe the fact that we went with them in Irak..oh wait... or the fact that we have abandoned french for English, woops wrong again. You must b talking to imaginary people, the truth is, if you ask any foreigner about France, he will have heard of it. Can't say the same things about Normandy (fine place btw)

Learn memes btw dude :) and why arent you speaking that norman language you're so proud of instead of US english?

  • @Anquetil79

Lol, england flag had th lys flower aswell if you pay attention. Not hard to see.

Nothing to answer about the fact that Normandy is nowaday a part of France and not the opposite? lol good night kid, dont worry, the Normans will probably do a great comeback soon and conquer France... the 30th february :p

  • @Kamfrenchie Hey bro hey dude mdr. Why conquer France, everybody has done it, it's nothing original lol.

Word up bro yo dude (As the French would say) ;)

To bad in Italy no city is named after the French but there are ones named after us Normans such as San vito Dei Normanni.

Normandy is beautifful it's my country but France is an ugly peace of shit, just like the French horsains hein mon gars ;)

  • @Anquetil79

Norman didn't conquer France, Russia diidn't. Normandy is part of France, sorry to brake your swet dreams :). We french don't need a city named after us, we evn offered a statue to the us after we freed them. Italian know how miserable you feel so they did it to help you feel better, happy? Keep dreaming about your heroic peasant killer ancestors, what they did before doesn't mean you are anything better than any other person. having a "hero" ancestor doesn' make you one.

    bonsoir:)

  • @Kamfrenchie The Russian army who took over Paris in 1814.

The French so good in bullshit so bad in facts mdr!

No wonder it was us Normans who conquered England and not the French ;)

  • @Anquetil79

so you mean you were the ones kicked out by Jeanne d'Arc then? :)

rusians werent alone, it was a whole coalition. :p

So if french sucks so much, yet they own your Normandy, the logical conclusion might not please you much. Again, who possess who nowadays?

  • @Kamfrenchie No we were the ones who burned Jeanne d'Arc alive in our beautiful Norman city Rouen ;)

Again the French and history mdr!

  • @Anquetil79

    so you normans burn womens?

Face it, it' in every history book, the french kicked the english out, hence why on maps you see ourcountry labelled as France instead of UK, and why Normandy is part of France, facts proove you wrong, buddy. It's very cute how you react instantly, now I'll let you aalone a bit. Feel free to either do some research or think about it, or continue making yourself look like a fol with your trolling.

Normans glory days are over , sorry for you :(.

  • @Kamfrenchie And it's a Hungarian that is the ruler of France today not a Frenchman lol. Even the minister of immigration is of Lebanese origins ahahah.

Well if you think about it who is there left today that is really French lol. At least we Normans and Bretons exist as a people. And insular Normandy is still independent from France ;)

Again I am really proud it was us Normans who burned Jeanne d'Arc alive in our beautiful Norman city Rouen.

  • @Anquetil79 Bastard!

  • @Gramra Nice to meet you Bastard! My name is Anquetil!

  • @Anquetil79

    Toi batard ?

  • @cumbas I auggest you read the work "Li Romanz des Franceis" written in Norman by the Norman André de Coutances. Engleis fièrement asallirent, Franceis merdement défendirent ; Au premier assaut se rendirent, Et hontosement s’en partirent. Nothing has changed ;)

  • @Anquetil79

    You bastard ?

NO it would be too beautiful for you

You are more the kind of a human waste & retarded fruit of several generations of consanguine marriages :-)

If you make youngs with your sister (poor girl ^^), flood them PLEASE, it will be at least a good action which you will have made in your life for the future of the Humanity

  • @Kamfrenchie

To be Norman is perfection, to be French is an abomination.

  • @Anquetil79

hahaha lol you're such an hilarious comic dude. 4replies, u mad bro? First you obviously have a shallow knowledge about WW2, we were invaded because we had no natural barrier unlike the US and the Brits. Oh wait we had the normans on our side then we should have won according to you :) Franc delt important losses to the ennemies anyway, and even all th allies combined strugled to defeat germany, so it's not a shame for france to have been defeated when abandonned :p

  • As a person from Normandy I am very proud that this mental case of a woman got burned alive in my country :) Fuck the French our eternal enemies.

France can die but never Normandy!

  • Tres bien, Biloutemag!

  • Joan of Arc .. no ordinary person.

  • shes one of the reasons why i love history ><

  • Some things are real, some for publicity. But a thing is certain anywhere in the world and along the history that almost every saint was killed

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @epimglobal mant saints were not killed saint clara, saint rita, saint therese....

  • More than a standard bearer. Wounded in battle three times in two years, and a field strategist who earned the respect of men in arms who were her father's age.

She died at the stake before she was 20 years old.

  • Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • I've viewed most of these comments on this video and I disagree with the majority of them, we are put on this earth for a reason, God has a reason for all of us to be on this earth he put Joan on this earth during the hundred years' war because he wanted a virgin from Lorraine to set free from the English. She has been my hero since I was seven years old and I have nothing but love and respect for her because she fought for what she believed in. Leelee did outstanding in this Flim!

  • Amazing video and beautiful song <3

  • Semper Fidelis

  • There was so many male warriors in History that makes this female warrior so exceptionnal, because unique

  • Brilliant video. Thank you.

  • milla of montenegro

  • this is seriously one of the best vids on youtube

  • LEELEE was amazing in this movie.

I was on the bus and this came up randomly..and I got hooked after 10 mins of watching it.

  • @razehey There was a tv on the bus, right?

  • @Gramra Yeah one of those coach buses with a tv/dvd player.

  • @turtlemayhem The names, english, german... or french, must be respected. Do we call in France foreigner people with french names like Jean in place of John, Arnaud in place of Arnold, Guillaume in place of William etc. ? Do you imagine Jean Kennedy or Georges Buisson in place of George Bush (our great friend) ! Simply ridiculous.

  • @Biloutemag Guillaume is Willaume in Norman. Fucking French respect the true Norman name of our conqueror.

  • @Biloutemag Si si et le normand aussi ;) Maby stealing lands from natives with spears and arrows against guns in America, Africa and Asia like the French did was more legal MDR! At least we Normans fought against armies equiped with the same weapons and often the Normans were outnumbered. Like in the battle of Civitate were the Normans won against the united much larger army of the German emperor, Pope and Byzantine emperor. Yêtes-vos d'aveu nos à c'sei ? Cachetaez derryire vos eul horzain

Willaume was from Normandy not France. We in Normandy spit on France and specially the young people today in Normandy are learning back our Norman language the French have been trying to destroy. The Norman language has an older literature than French has and was the language of the Norman Kings& nobility of England and the English literature and administration for 300 years.

  • @Anquetil79

  • @jeffkodiac We burned the sick ill demon Joan of Arc with Norman quality wood ;)

Burning that demon was one of the greatest religious thing we ever did in Normandy. Not even the birth of Thérèse of Lisieux (actually she was born in Alençon) can shadow it.

To be from Normandy is the greatest honor there is. To be from France is the greatest shame there is.

  • @Anquetil79

  • @jeffkodiac Learn history kid instead of playing Video Games all the time. But we all know about how ignorant and stupid French nationalists are. Normandy serving France since 1204 you say. Ignorance is bliss for you nationalists lol. The best thing is you are not even French but Flemish, la honte ;)

  • The song is good. From what I've seen, the movie is good. But what you have put together here is quite special.

  • her name was "Jeanne d'Arc" not Joan of Arc, she hate English they invade her country so don't give her an english name !

  • @Biloutemag The English and the French aren't at war anymore, and the fact that we call her by an English name shows that England now respects and even venerates her as a saint. So there's no reason to get mad about it.

  • @Antimony You have stolen my word my dear friend. Isn't this better that the heretics (English) who burnt her are calling her saint! And she never hated English people rather she hated injustice. There is no use of language in describing or praising God's people.

  • @Antimony It's so simple to name her with her name : "Jeanne d'Arc" and that costs nothing !

If you want to be totally english, you should name her "Joan of Bow"

  • @Biloutemag "Jeanne d'Arc" wasn't really her name, either. During her life nobody called her that, not even herself. Growing up she was called "Jeanette", and after that she was called "Jeanne" and "La Pucelle" (The Maid), but never "Jeanne d'Arc.". That name seems to have been invented by hisorians, since her father was called "Jaques d'Arc."

  • @Antimony You should read (in french) the two Jeanne's trials, specially the rehabilitation one (1455-56) where she is called (and written) numerous times : Jeanne d'Arc. Her brothers were called on this trial : Jean d'Arc and Pierre d'Arc. Her mother : Isabelle d'Arc (and they were alive at this time). Even in the original latin the name of the family was not translated and always remained "d'Arc".

When she came to Charles VII, she called herself : "Jeanne la Pucelle".

  • @Biloutemag Fuck you with your French shit.

The fucking French call Willaume our great Norman hero Guillaume when his name was Willaume as it is in Norman today still.

  • @Biloutemag Yet another French horsain full of errors. Normandy means land of the northmen AKA Vikings not land of the French lol. NOTA BENE the title king of France did not even exsist before the 13th century lol. Before the term was king of the Franks AKA the Frankish people not land terrictory. And not all the people in the land that was before known as Gaul had Franks, infact only a small minority. Neustria is not Normandy no more than Gaul is France. The ignorance...So French mdr!

  • @Biloutemag Isn't this better that the heretics (English) who burnt her are calling her saint! And she never hated English people rather she hated injustice. There is no use of language in describing or praising God's people.

  • @Biloutemag

Her name Wasn't Jeanne D'Arc either was It.?

  • @chavrons1 It was her name but she called herself "Jeanne la Pucelle" because at middle-age first people used mainly their first name and "pucelle" didn't only mean "maid" but have a religious meaning : "keaping her virginity for God".

  • @Biloutemag

    Thanks for that. xx

  • She signed herself Jehanne. Though her father bore the name of Darc or Darx, she is not know to have taken on either her fathers name as is commonly thought or her mothers name as was traditional for the time.

  • Comment removed

  • i hava to watch this for social stduies inquiry D:

  • @randomdude39 you should revel at the thought, not dread it.

  • i love that movie <<3 great one 5/5

  • i want to do a pster of her for my history project

  • Saint Joan of arc

    Prayer for we.

  • As a child this movie turned me into a christian. When I was around 11 I had read all the documents recorded of her including her trials and what eventually led to her burning. By that time I was just learning english, and it took me months to translate and understand all of it.

I do not believe in god anymore, but her influence on me was much heavier than any priest or teacher could hammer into a human being. Through her actions and words she taugh me to be a stronger and better person.

  • The best movie about Joan of Arc with excellent Leelee Sobieski and also with many of factual mistakes...may/winter etc. This super Canadian TV-movie was filmed in the Czech Republic (Bohemia). I have believed Leelee she is true Joan!

  • poooooorrrrrr jjjooaan she take back evey thing she say about the visionsjust to save that god mother fucking bishop.T_T

  • get a grip. she didn't do anything to save the bishop, that was the director. in fact, if i recall correctly, she told the bishop, essentially, that she'll accuse him before God for her death.

what she took back was the denial of the Saints, which has to do with her soul, not the bishop.

  • wow thats freaky i saw the movie for school its sad I think she was brave

  • God bless Jeanne for what people can do,if they belive to one good thing that they wants to do.Every people can do it but it needs to belive to your self.from past until to the future it works every time.
