Yes the cover is from an English band..yes the UK in general has produced great music and literature for a long long time...but I think what the poster below meant that this kind of 'pickin n grinnin' blue grass style is unique to the United States, particularly the South and the hills and some parts of the Midwest too. Yes the British, Isles had some similar folk music too but this "style" is from the USA.
