@RockJohn89 martin has the best guitars in the world, but thats just my opinion, ive had takamine, and martin. the takamine is heavier than the martin, so the martin sounds better. the takamine also sounds great, but nothing can compare to the clarity of the martins tone... but again, just my opinion.. its all preference, really
I also read that the desing of a dreadnought with all the bracing behind the top makes necessary more tension to allow the guitar to hit it´s better performance. Do you think it could harm this guitar using medium gauge strings? Thanks for your help and congratulations for the review you sold me that guitar with your review!
You look much less pro when you do the review and have to read. Know the instrument first, then review. It's also annoying to look at someone talking and his or her eyes did look at you, but looking at something else. If this is your job, you should do it better than this. If you can fix this, you will be one of the best reviewers on Youtube.
@Art2703 Perhaps he does know the instrument, but can't memorize everything he wanted to say. Perhaps Scott doesn't tend to look in people's eyes too much when he talks anyhow. So what? He clearly knows what he's talking about, is a competent player and is qualified to do the review.
I'd rather have a low key expert present than the all-too-common hyperbole-spouting zealot.
Yes, that is a Rode NT-5. There's an other one off-camera up above to better capture the voice, but it also picks up some of the guitar. We use a Pro Tools Digi 002 interface into an iMac G5 .
Sounds amazing

Nice but I prefer the Martin 000-15 in both looks and sound. Only 50 bucks more.
