  • I an definitely going to try this out! my little sister who is in 6th grade tried this out and it looks perfect!

  • ouuuhhhh i just made my own and i love it. you get to customise it yourself, add whatever moisturiser you like. basically make it yourself to your own specifications. its great. i used nevea oil free spf8 day moisturiser for oily/combination skin, revlon colorstay foundation for oily/combination skin in 440 mahogany, bourjois healthy mix foundation in 58,hawaiin tropics sensitive skin face sunscreen spf 30 and a little pure distilled witch hazel.mix all together and match my skin.it is great

  • I found this video I cant wait to try this :-)

  • I made mine with the Mary Kay medium coverage foundation in bronze 600, proactiv daily oil control, and oil free moisture. Put all these (in equal parts) into a small squeeze bottle and shook it to mix. I'm oily, so this works really well for me and I use it EVERYDAY and apply it with my basic elf foundation brush. I also don't have to set it. When I make another batch, I'll probably add proactiv's daily protection plus sunscreen w/ an spf of 30. <3

  • @iiLulu10 do you use moisturiser under it? i feel like maybe use a little bit of moisturiser since it is make up after all evben though it has some moisturisers in it

  • @mimi42428 oh yeah, I always moisturize even with the tinted moisturizer.

  • @iiLulu10 cool thanks so much for the response. i was just wondering

  • @mimi42428 no problem ^_^ thanks for the question!

  • @iiLulu10 :-)

  • Where can I purchase the moisturizer that u used to make your tinted moisturizer?

  • Good information, great video, i am so going to make a customized product for me. thank you for sharing.

  • Great idea!

  • Thanks so much for making the video. :) I always wondered how people did the homemade tinted moisturizer. Your skin looks so beautiful. You can't even tell you have oily skin. I have really, really oily skin. That's one of the reasons that I don't wear foundation anymore. It just slides off. Now I have new hope. :)

  • I cannot wait to try this! Your skin looks fantastic.

  • @thecreativelady U will love it!! xoxo Thanks too!

  • This is my 3rd time watching this vid...SO AWESOME!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Idea!!:) Gonna make my own "Magical" tinted moisturizer! :)

  • I can't wait to try this. Your skin is the bomb lol

  • Hi, I tried this as well. I use Mary Kay products & love my MK moisturizer. It keeps me oil free all day. Only issue, as you say, is that it's not tinted. I usually don´t wear make up because it feels so cloying, but my favourite foundation is also from MK, so you know what's coming right? Yes, I put them together & I love it!! The moisturizer helps me get really great coverage & it was light & wonderful to work with. I don´t even feel like I´m wearing makeup!! Thanks for the tips!! Much love.

  • I do this also...I have dry skin, so I mix equal parts St Ives Revitalizing Moisturizer with Collagen, Pure Aloe Vera Gel and my Revlon Colorstay Foundation.

  • cool

  • great idea....

  • Thank you for mentioning the Caribbean <3 not many Gurus mention it

  • @Shani9120 NP mama xoxo!!

  • Can you a video when you are mixing it so we can see...I dont have oily skin will this still work for me?

  • Great video... I'm super duper dry so Im going to add a bit of olive oil to my concoction...will let you know how it goes

  • how do u customized ur foundation??

  • Great idea! I love that you show how it looks in different lighting too.

  • Amazing thank you for this. I am on my way to Ghana for 3 mos, this is just what i need for my oily skin :) love it

  • @mszeee lucky wish i was u

  • I've made m own tinted moisturizer in the past, but I never customized it to this degree. I may try it again when it gets hotter outside.

  • your skin looks great.

  • 10 Kinds of amazing.

  • great great vid.Loved the result!!! keep up the good videos x

  • that was great i cant wait to try it thanks

  • I've been doing this for a while. It is my go to when I don't feel like doing a full face, which is often!

I take my MUFE HD 178 (1 pump) and mix it with AMBI facial moisturizer with an spf 15 (1 pump) on the back of my hand, and place it on my face with my hands. The ambi has a luminisence effect, so when mixed with the MUFE, it gives a nice, light dewy/glowing finish. I also set it with the HD powder.

  • You're like me, I'm oily, but I love the dewy look, hate the matted out look, but I want my makeup to last! It seems like when I'm shopping the sales ladies never quite understand this, when I say I'm oily they just take me totally matte products and don't understand that I still want dewyness (just dewyness that lasts!!)

  • I had to make my own tinted moisturizer last summer because I could not find one in my shade.

  • Very good idea- the best of both worlds. Good option for people like me who hate the idea of foundation. Great modification :) xoxo

  • YOU ARE A-MAZING!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!

  • Great idea!!

  • I do this also.

  • Thanks for sharing!!! Great idea ;)

  • The foundation looked GREAT outside! Bravo. I have dry skin, so I'll have to look for a moisturizer to remedy that problem.

  • Girl, you do your thing thing on here. This is super cool, thank you ... What is the amount/percentage did you use of each product?

  • Can I add MAC lustre drops? That little bottle with shimmery liquid that came out last summer with To the Beach?

  • wow! thanks so much and this is great, because you showed what it looked like in different lightings. you look great too btw!

  • im def going to try this! quick question...k so i have decided to purchase the La Femme blushes but im kinda scared of some of the colors. I really like Mulberry,Magenta, and pretty much the purples. However, im very yellow and tend to stick to orange/coral colors just cause they complement my warm skin tone. Do you think its a wise idea to purchase cool toned blushes for me? I dont want to look crazy lol. Thank you and I always appreciate your input.

  • Brilliant, ooh you've really inspired me now to see what I can concoct! Thanks hon :-)

  • I really want to try this since I work on an aircraft and the lighting is bad, you have great talent. This will be added to my favorite.

  • That makes so much sense!

    Shalom & Blessings!

  • Great idea. Do you think this would work with gel moisturizer? What are the ratios of foundation to moisturizer that you used? I ask because I'm not crafty and would hate to waste my foundation by using too much or too little.

  • I, LOVE, YOU!

  • Wow!!!! What an awesome idea!! I will try this...thanks for sharing:) Keep em coming hun!!!

  • really nice. I have to try this out!

  • OMG!!! GREAT IDEA!!! THANKS!! I am going to try this.
