ouuuhhhh i just made my own and i love it. you get to customise it yourself, add whatever moisturiser you like. basically make it yourself to your own specifications. its great. i used nevea oil free spf8 day moisturiser for oily/combination skin, revlon colorstay foundation for oily/combination skin in 440 mahogany, bourjois healthy mix foundation in 58,hawaiin tropics sensitive skin face sunscreen spf 30 and a little pure distilled witch hazel.mix all together and match my skin.it is great
I made mine with the Mary Kay medium coverage foundation in bronze 600, proactiv daily oil control, and oil free moisture. Put all these (in equal parts) into a small squeeze bottle and shook it to mix. I'm oily, so this works really well for me and I use it EVERYDAY and apply it with my basic elf foundation brush. I also don't have to set it. When I make another batch, I'll probably add proactiv's daily protection plus sunscreen w/ an spf of 30. <3
@iiLulu10 do you use moisturiser under it? i feel like maybe use a little bit of moisturiser since it is make up after all evben though it has some moisturisers in it
Thanks so much for making the video. :) I always wondered how people did the homemade tinted moisturizer. Your skin looks so beautiful. You can't even tell you have oily skin. I have really, really oily skin. That's one of the reasons that I don't wear foundation anymore. It just slides off. Now I have new hope. :)
Hi, I tried this as well. I use Mary Kay products & love my MK moisturizer. It keeps me oil free all day. Only issue, as you say, is that it's not tinted. I usually don´t wear make up because it feels so cloying, but my favourite foundation is also from MK, so you know what's coming right? Yes, I put them together & I love it!! The moisturizer helps me get really great coverage & it was light & wonderful to work with. I don´t even feel like I´m wearing makeup!! Thanks for the tips!! Much love.
I do this also...I have dry skin, so I mix equal parts St Ives Revitalizing Moisturizer with Collagen, Pure Aloe Vera Gel and my Revlon Colorstay Foundation.
I've been doing this for a while. It is my go to when I don't feel like doing a full face, which is often!
I take my MUFE HD 178 (1 pump) and mix it with AMBI facial moisturizer with an spf 15 (1 pump) on the back of my hand, and place it on my face with my hands. The ambi has a luminisence effect, so when mixed with the MUFE, it gives a nice, light dewy/glowing finish. I also set it with the HD powder.
You're like me, I'm oily, but I love the dewy look, hate the matted out look, but I want my makeup to last! It seems like when I'm shopping the sales ladies never quite understand this, when I say I'm oily they just take me totally matte products and don't understand that I still want dewyness (just dewyness that lasts!!)
im def going to try this! quick question...k so i have decided to purchase the La Femme blushes but im kinda scared of some of the colors. I really like Mulberry,Magenta, and pretty much the purples. However, im very yellow and tend to stick to orange/coral colors just cause they complement my warm skin tone. Do you think its a wise idea to purchase cool toned blushes for me? I dont want to look crazy lol. Thank you and I always appreciate your input.
Great idea. Do you think this would work with gel moisturizer? What are the ratios of foundation to moisturizer that you used? I ask because I'm not crafty and would hate to waste my foundation by using too much or too little.
I an definitely going to try this out! my little sister who is in 6th grade tried this out and it looks perfect!
