  • COME ON MAN! SHIT!

this is really cool dude. love the synth sound you chose.

  • such a fantastic video! next time i debate with myself on what piece of gear to get next, i'll just watch this video again and get a machinedrum for sure! :D

  • Yo amigo! Is that there machinedrum a MKI?

  • @rubixgroove yes

  • Really great ...i like it !

  • Awesome Jam !

    Loved it !

  • very great!!

  • i'm stunned dude. it just shows you if you spend enuf time with these babys u can come with something good but if you have the knowledge (like this guy!) you can come out with something great! again, superb!!!

  • Hello Howdragonsdisappear, Great video! thinking about piking up the mm & MD myself too, but i want value for my money. This is thelast time in a long time i will be able to spend such a great amount of money on gear. Do you think its possible to create an entire production/album on the MM & MD ? I'm also considering some synth like moog voyager or virus & cubase (do the beats in there) But seeing your video's makes me think elektron gear has hudge possibility's. thanks

    Keep up the good work

  • @Stillgrey sure they can do an entire album, hard to know if it's that YOU really need in a youtube comment ! got some track on soundcloud, lots of them are non ^mastered att all, maybe it can give you a better idea. Thank's for the kind word

  • what i love about the elektron instruments is how they invite you to sit in front of them and just focus. you hardly care to pick up a mouse after working on a machinedrum or monomachine for any amount of time. this work is exemplary. i wish i could watch it from above and enjoy the process and finesse better. but, that's just my selfish curiosity. bravo! well done and thanks for sharing.

  • Lovely

  • werd,I was wondering. Is there a major difference between the UW version and the SPS 1? Besides adding extra drum sounds and other samples.

  • @rhodes1986 the uw can do easily some really cool complex granular effect, and add some grain you can't obtain without. But the SPS1 stay a great machine whithout !

  • Is this being recorded through a mixer or are you using a microphone on the speakers?

  • @rhodes1986 thank's, it's a mix between my bridge camera mic (very cheap what you hear at the beginning) and the soundboard recording

  • great track

  • oohh boy, you ripped my kind regards... ;)

  • yarp... why did you take my comment off? won´t you tell me where´s the melody from starting at 2:04?? kind regards...

  • @TheLammbock81 sorry, don't know where's your comment, i haven't seen it.

this isn't a cover theme. mainly triangle and fm osc of the mono if i remember right.

  • Very intense. Great job! ~_^

  • Cette vidéo est vraiment excellente. Voilà qui m'encourage à continuer d'économiser pour me procurer la MD.

  • Very nice man!

  • A lot of questions !

    - What is your scale ? I thing you're on 64/64 x2, no ?

    - Wich kit ? I heard mostly E12, no ? What is interesting in E12 is the retrig...

  • Hello !

    - WRONG ! 32/32 x1 it's an original machinedrum UW; and 64/64 x1 for the monomachine, in live i use sometimes the x2 on the MD (the divide the tempo by 2) to simulate a 8bars loop on the mono but not here.

    - i'm not sure, but i think the track 4 is an E12 and it's the only one, I generally don't use this machine but sometimes the bend effect can be cool to keep free the lfos, after it's only rom and EFM and a ctr machine for the delay. I'm in love with the efm !

  • Year, somewhere between Autechre and Board of Canada... I've the MD, it's so crazy machine regarding the rest of the market Box... So I wait for the MNM next week.... Cheer !

  • Absolutely fantastic. Reminds a little of "Unit: Static Beef ". Especially in the beginning. Do you know that track? If you don't you definitelly have to listen to their "Narcoleptic symphony" Album.

  • don't know the artist ,

i'll look for ! thx for the info

  • wow. this is serious.

  • Your right, holy cow dude... A whole album could be made with this setup here. Quite possibly the coolest thing music wise ive seen on youtube.

That being said, mine should be here in a few days!

  • just read somewhere this is the same setup Autechre use. should explain something...

    heh

  • So great!

  • Had to post this link to my Facebook. It just amazing!

  • Breathtaking!!! Convinced me of getting one.

    Good jam bro!

  • quality! yeah!

I will one of these days one of these. :)

  • truly inspiring

  • thisis great man:))) you play great music!!!

  • you might want to make an annotation that people type '&fmt=18' behind it to watch it in HQ. Really serves the soundperpecption good. Especially the high freq.

Again: respect for this amazing live jam

  • Great !!!

The first machine drum video really awesome!

    Stay innovative man :)

  • Yeah...I've never seen a better demo of the machinedrum. I finally get why people love it so much. Now if I could only afford it.

  • this machine is awsome!

  • Fuck.....Yeah......I have them both...and this is very inspiring. Thanks dude.

  • man, this is good shit! Love the added spheric synthy sound around 2:00.

  • I've watched probably thousands of youtube videos. This is the one first one I've ever added to my favorites.

  • just insane man. care to email an ol' friend the raw recording if you have it?
