Gravitation is more of a Shounen-ai than a yaoi.

If you want yaoi, I might suggest Ikoku irokoi romantan. Only 2 episodes long, but there's plenty of showing.

i dont get the cult following around gravitation. i have watched the show start to finish. it was in like 2004 or 2005 so the details are fuzzy but i remember most of it. great show but their is like a bunch of people that will flip out and go crazy if you mention it. this makes it hard to have an actual conversation about anything like the art music or story because people are caught up in the omg its yaoi. im a straight dude and love the show but its ruend by fan girls. sorry for ranting.

@mucktar Yeah it is kind of silly. I think it's meant to be, but in Japan it doesn't have the same crazy fangirls because it's not as well-known there and there are so many other shonen-ai anime. I think Shuichi adds to the craziness of the fangirls because of his personality. Its music is really incredible though!

There's an OVA with two episodes...but I feel this version is better. ^^ Shuichi's too...normal...in the OVA. XD

But, good news! I've heard the manga is much longer and goes much more in-depth about their relationship than the anime does. I just can't seem to find it anywhere, or I'd give you a link as well~.

I bought the first ten issues, and oh yeah, a lot more happens in the manga. There's so many more characters too. Like Hiro's brother and Shuichi's sister. And Rage. And K's wife. The manga is crazy.

But I was coming here to say... Murakami just recently released Gravitation EX, the sequel to Gravitation. Of course, though, it's a manga. I think it starts out with Kitazawa's brother, because he's in the manga TOO! [SPOILER: He appears when Yuki rushes to America to get Shu back.]
