it says on the screen use the directional pad to pet him.. but all i have are praise and punish on the directional pad, for the expressions.. can anybody help?
WHY the FUCK did they remove half the dog features? Molenuex hyped it up like it was going to be some spectacular game making feature and all the dog really does is point out treasure... thats it! You cant change your tone of voice to him, you cant bury his ball, and he does basically NOTHING in combat other than bite the occasional enemy thats ALREADY BEEN KNOCKED TO THE GROUND. Loved the game, but Peter over-hyped it completely just like he did Fable 1. Someone needs to put a muzzle on him.

I don't get why they lost so many good features. They seem to have replaced the good features, like the "dog" mode and mounts and such with 3D-ish graphics. In the final version the graphics are pretty amazing, and it's a great game, but after you beat the main story there's really nothing to do other than going around slaughtering people or raising a family. And the children NEVER grow up.

That really is impressive! Yet another amazing idea for a already amazing game. Maybe im a fanboy but i loved the first one and i have been looking forward to this game since i first saw it announced. The dog engine just clinches the deal for me.

I'm gonna be totally mean to the dog. I'll have my character say no in the mean tone all the time and buy toys and throw em in the water somewhere if there is like a small river or something. I wouldn't attack it though cause it seems like a good helper in a fight and im to lazy to wanna fight every battle so why hurt the dog which I don't think you'll even be able to. apparantly there are new features that may or may not be put in like safe or unprotected sex (although I can't see how you could have safe sex as rubber wasn't invented then unless they pull out at the last minute) and apparantly STD/I's too, and the female character can become pregnant (which I presume would dull your game play if you chose the female character) these are all features that may or may not make it to the final game ???
I don't know if it is already in the game or in the process of being put in but it would be awesome (I think) if the player had a horse too that has emotions, feelings etc like the dog.

That really is impressive! Yet another amazing idea for a already amazing game. Maybe im a fanboy but i loved the first one and i have been looking forward to this game since i first saw it announced. The dog engine just clinches the deal for me.

I'm gonna be totally mean to the dog. I'll have my character say no in the mean tone all the time and buy toys and throw em in the water somewhere if there is like a small river or something. I wouldn't attack it though cause it seems like a good helper in a fight and im to lazy to wanna fight every battle so why hurt the dog which I don't think you'll even be able to. Does it even come back to life if you do kill it?

apparantly there are new features that may or may not be put in like safe or unprotected sex (although I can't see how you could have safe sex as rubber wasn't invented then unless they pull out at the last minute) and apparantly STD/I's too, and the female character can become pregnant (which I presume would dull your game play if you chose the female character) these are all features that may or may not make it to the final game ???
