PMS is not menstruation. PMS is premenstrual syndrome. Not every female has PMS and some women only have mild PMS. Symptoms include depression, anger and anxiety. PMDD causes an even greater struggle because the symptoms can become so severe that they literally cannot be controlled. I get severe PMDD and isolate myself as much as possible during those days because I cannot control myself at all. It feels like I'm possessed. I avoid taking it out on people by avoiding people all together.

i have poly-cystic ovaries (golf ball size)- and when its that time for me they rupture which causes the most extreme pain ever. to explain further i have a standing prescription for medication they give to women during child birth (that doesnt even really work that well). lol and even through all that the only reason why i ever get mad in reference to menstruation is when someone blames something i do or say on my period. like im not allowed to ever be upset unless im bleeding.
I really enjoy your videos! I'm a woman (a much older one) and what men fail to understand is that on a monthly basis, women go through a chemical imbalance. In the beginning it's really hard to understand why we're pissed off. It's only until we're fully aware of it happening at the same time every month that we begin to try to control how we feel and what we say. Cramps, irritability, headaches, - no fun to expeience every 28 or so days! But, "it's because she's a bitch" - just a tad harsh.

I've been charting my mentrual cycles for over 10 years now. Can even tell you when I ovulate. PMS is very real. The woman starts producing a serious amount of pregesterone after she drops her egg, as she gets closer to her menses (that's a "period" for those of you outta touch) estrogen levels start to raise...so much so, it jump starts the bleeding. And some of you deny PMS and say "oh, she's just a bitch"??? I've had in tune boyfriends who said it was SO obvious the PMS effects kicked in.

I can say I am able to control my emotions during that time, but sometimes it can build up, so for small fractions of time I can have angry outbursts. It does get crazy sometimes. Girls can get very emotional when they are on & they cannot help the way they feel, its hormones. I'd agree with the fact that it's easy enough to control. Yeah there's back pain, Clothing damage (which is usually the worst because it's EMBARASSING), and the occasional bout of... errr... stomach problems o.e... All that is usually the source of irritation. But there's also medication that alleviates some of the pain and if they're not tough enough to suck it up for 7 days give or take, I'd agree that they're a b*tch. But to assume that because they're mad, they're PMSing is ignorant.

This is so wrong... You don't have periods so you can't judge. You really can't. This is the most ignorant video you've ever made, and usually I'm a big fan of your videos. Personally, my periods are THAT bad, I nearly got rushed into hospital a couple of times. I can't breathe, stand up, sit up straight, I keep throwing up, my boyfriend is scared for me and I cry for about 5 hours the pain is that bad. You know how that feels, Greg? PMS is not menstruation. PMS is premenstrual syndrome. Not every female has PMS and some women only have mild PMS. Symptoms include depression, anger and anxiety. PMDD causes an even greater struggle because the symptoms can become so severe that they literally cannot be controlled. I get severe PMDD and isolate myself as much as possible during those days because I cannot control myself at all. It feels like I'm possessed. I avoid taking it out on people by avoiding people all together.

i have poly-cystic ovaries (golf ball size)- and when its that time for me they rupture which causes the most extreme pain ever. to explain further i have a standing prescription for medication they give to women during child birth (that doesnt even really work that well). lol and even through all that the only reason why i ever get mad in reference to menstruation is when someone blames something i do or say on my period. like im not allowed to ever be upset unless im bleeding.

I really enjoy your videos! I'm a woman (a much older one) and what men fail to understand is that on a monthly basis, women go through a chemical imbalance. In the beginning it's really hard to understand why we're pissed off. It's only until we're fully aware of it happening at the same time every month that we begin to try to control how we feel and what we say. Cramps, irritability, headaches, - no fun to expeience every 28 or so days! But, "it's because she's a bitch" - just a tad harsh.

I've been charting my mentrual cycles for over 10 years now. Can even tell you when I ovulate. PMS is very real. The woman starts producing a serious amount of pregesterone after she drops her egg, as she gets closer to her menses (that's a "period" for those of you outta touch) estrogen levels start to raise...so much so, it jump starts the bleeding. And some of you deny PMS and say "oh, she's just a bitch"??? I've had in tune boyfriends who said it was SO obvious the PMS effects kicked in.

I can say I am able to control my emotions during that time, but sometimes it can build up, so for small fractions of time I can have angry outbursts. It does get crazy sometimes. But if you're like this woman I met in a laundromat years ago, you must announce to everyone in the area that you have PMS and will get angry at their children if they don't stop being so loud. Because her PMS is such an "uncontrollable DISEASE" that can act as an excuse to hurt/scream. Now that woman was a bitch.

I personally believe that a lot of people CAN'T control their emotions in any kind of way... like my older brother.. he has a serious condition.. a lot of people label it as bi-polar but it really isn't... it's actually another condition that I do not know cause he keeps his business to himself.

The first day is a living hell!!! It hurts! I throw up, shiver and sweat! I can`t take any hormones and nearly no painkillers... I went to 3 doctors, but each told me my body couldn`t handle them!
The only things that help are comfortable clothing, a lot of hot showers and a very low dose of painkillers...

I don't agree with some of this. I think it's because your a guy and don't go through the fun that is periods! Girls can get very emotional when they are on & they cannot help the way they feel, its hormones. When girls PMS severely, they can get so easily irritable, upset etc, that they do lash out at loved ones. They're not in a rational mindset. It does not make them an asshole or a bitch. It's hormones. If a girl is lashing out, leave her a few days and then come back when shes cooled down.

Menstruating doesn't just mean bleeding from your lady parts, it means many aches and pains, that are sometimes unbearable and it means hormonal changes in your body which effect the chemicals in your brain, so you become over-emotional or have moods swings, this may happen a lot or not at all. Having PMS doesn't make you a bitch.

Again I will say, SOME women use it as an excuse when they don't really suffer from PMS, however, most don't. Therefore, you can't go around accusing women of using it as an excuse when you do not know whether they truly suffer from PMS.

I'd agree with the fact that it's easy enough to control. Yeah there's back pain, Clothing damage (which is usually the worst because it's EMBARASSING), and the occasional bout of... errr... stomach problems o.e... All that is usually the source of irritation. But there's also medication that alleviates some of the pain and if they're not tough enough to suck it up for 7 days give or take, I'd agree that they're a b*tch. But to assume that because they're mad, they're PMSing is ignorant.
