No, it's not my shadow (notice how it doesn't move). I set him in between two trees so the light was mostly on his face.

And thanks for your thoughts, hopefully when you see the prequel your thoughts will change on his character being "embarrassed to live".

This film was amazing, technically speaking. The sounds, the music, the frames and the acting were very impressive for such a film.

Plot wise, I liked that you stayed very cryptic and didn't go for the obvious most of the time. I'm gonna need to see the prequel though to comment any further.

Part IV:

After that ending you definitely need at least a sequel. A prequel would be helpful too, but I'd rather see the sequel first.

This was so wonderful to watch, Tyler. It's no wonder it took you so long to complete it. Kudos to Greg and Danielle for all their contributions to your film.

I would release the sequel first...but then you'd be really confused considering I didn't release all the story yet. =] There's still a mega twist and the story now looks like "woman scorned...woman beats up man" when it, in fact, is much more than that.

Prequel first. =]

Part III:

That first whack with the branch was painful to watch. Later on when Greg seemed to have his thumb broken that snap was a sickening sound. All in all the sounds you used were first-rate. The gouge on Greg's face was incredibly real. The ever-increasing amount of blood in his wounds was also a great touch.

Part II:

Did you use just one camera for all the scenes? Whether it was one or more the quality was exceptional. I watched in high-def full-screen at 1600x1200 on a 22" monitor. The quality was mostly crystal-clear and the effect of watching it full-screen made it seem all the more scary.

Part I:

Tyler, you completely blew me away with, Unsoundness of Mind.

The opening credits were extremely well-done right down to how the flame was blown-out. The red inner-glow in the text was a nice touch, too. I couldn't help but wonder how many hours you spent on what's normally such a small part of a film. You made the whole thing seem even more professional than it was because of the opening and closing credits.

Great work Tyler! The editing was great, the music was perfect, and the acting was really good. I also liked your opening graphic. I can understand how this took a year to put together, this is your best work to date. You should be proud of it. You mention a prequel but I would also like to see a part two as you seem to have left it up to interpretation as to what the male is going to do with that stick in his hand in the final close up shot. I loved it!
