  • Wow, I just learned the slow blues in E by Stefan Grossman, and I played right along with this! Never played blues before, and even all the little variations fit right in, I could sit and jam with you for a good while! You have my praise. No wonder I was never as good as others, I never learned the blues!

  • Awesome..thanx...

  • I am learning a lot from listening to you. Many thanks. Please check out my compositions whenever you have the time. All the best, and thank you. CR.

  • Will,

Is this VDO the answer of my question 2 hrs ago?

I do enjoy learning from you. I wanna be able to improvise slow bluesE and A.

I think this is one of the basic I should master. Right?

  • Thank you for the inspiration sir! Playing since the mid 60´s was sidetracked with life and raising kids, now back at my first musical love. Although somewhat rusty, will now with your help continue to enjoy this wonderful instrument.

  • Tabs? Were?

  • Will, I find your videos to be very informative and lyrical. Thanks so much for the effort.

  • Merci de France, c'est un plaisir d'entendre un truc aussi roots

  • Wow - listening to you has been surreal - I have been playing for 35 years and I have never heard anyone who played exactly like me! Jamming with you is like jamming with myself. Spiritual my friend - I will post some and you tell me what you think - you just made my week!! Thanks!!

  • Well.. I look forward to hearing some of your stuff - a musical doppelganger is always fun to hear... :-)

  • You make it look so easy! My homework for this week. Thank you so much, nice one.

  • Thank you for presentig us the tabs and your playing on video as well.

You made me bringing the guitar down from the top of my cabinet.

    All the best to you,

    gds

  • Excellent, gds - all you have to do now is play it! :-) Will

  • What is that guitar? It sounds great. Are you playing through an amp?

  • It's a Larrivée OM-03RE acoustic. It does have a Baggs pickup, but I'm recording acoustically it with a Shure SM58 mic. :-)

  • nice!!!you make it look so easy.

  • Good Blues in. Love the licks.

  • great video will :)

  • Very nice. I particularly like this and the Workout in D. This kind of stuff should be in every acoustic players bucket.

If it hasn't been said lately, or often enough, much thanks for the effort to post and tab all these lessons. I know that takes time. There are many of us out there who aren't very vocal but follow this stuff religiously.

    Thanks again.

  • My pleasure - glad you find the stuff of value. :-) Will

  • by the way, FIVE STARS!

  • This is fantastic! Thank you so much for doing this for all of us!
