His car number was 198 because in vintage racing at Daytona in the 80s, he was clocked at 198mph. Hie cobra is still considered the most stock S/C in existence today. Believe it. cobra is like 2,400lbs and corvette maybe 3100? i think, now look, cobra is going to wreck it in the first 0-100mph and then the corvette flys past because of aerodynamics, and I may be wrong but i don't want to be doing 200mph in a convertible, haha but thats just me...
Not a shelby. Possibly a factory five or superperformance replica. Modern powerplant and drive line, modern suspension, modern tires, less weight than even the original.
The vette would be lucky if he won. Haha. Cobra for the win. Light weight and lots of hp.
