This is the second time I've heard him apologising and on both occasions it was followed by a lame excuse for why he said what he said. When people do this I take it to mean they don't stand by what they've said in the first place and therefore don't deserve to be listened to. As regards to Sharon Davis' looks. He came over as being very likable and spoke openly about how he was bullied at school. His own insecurities mixed with the shows need to have a nasty judge have no doubt lead to his comments being the way they are. He also said in an interview that the fight he had with Denise Welch/Welsh was STAGED!! So, please leave him alone!!

He is just there to deliberately make comments that the producers know will cause much debate long after the show. He has absolutely no idea of skating. This may be called "Dancing on Ice" - it is a euphemism for "Ice Dancing". Jason Gardiner knows nothing about the steps and skating skills required. When did he ever perform a three turn, a mohawk, a choctaw, a forward or backward spiral, a three jump or toe loop? What does he know about edges? Dancing on the floor or stage is a totally different kettle of fish to performing on ice. By the way, skater since 1974 here.
