Hard to place the shot unless they are VERY close to being underneath your stand, but if you make the shot, I GUARANTEE you, there will be absolutely no tracking. Actualy, having participated in this program many many times, there are usually a lot of families (including children) who watch...and learn! In fact, there were several children shown in the video who didn't seem to be upset in the slightest. Colonial Williamsburg is about educating folks about life in the past, and for most people that meant butchering meat.
