Duke beat 15th seeded Belmont by 1 pt. in the first round, then promptly lost to 7th seeded WVU in the second round.

By comparison, UNC beat 16th seeded MSM by 39 pts, 9th seeded ARK by 31pts, 4th seeded WSU by 21 pts, 3rd seeded Louisville by 10, and lost in the Final Four. They scored over 100 pts in 2 of those games.
