I remember watching Chris Benoit winning the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time! Watching this makes me miss watching the old wrestling where all sorts of action took place. I personally believe that all the storylines and "beef" that all the old wrestlers had were more intense. The biggest thing I've seen that really impressed me was Nexus's debut and that was about it. But it's still good in some ways too though!

to frangieh14 ...pretty good list, but i would replace Mick Foley and Triple H with Andre the Giant and "The Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino. Both were dominant in their respective eras. Sammartino held the belt for 11 yrs in 2 spans and for his time was as big, and some could argue, was even bigger than Hogan.

I think your right. The WWF was great with Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and Hulk Hogan. But the WWE has new superstars that are great too. John Cena, Triple H, Batista, Jeff and Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio and last of all The Undertaker. So you can say that the WWF was better and that you would pick it over the WWE. But when you say that the WWE sucks ass thats crossing the line. It is the future of this industry and you my friend need to stop living in the past.

Actually Big time, major league wrestling is dead. TNA is nowhere near ready to bring serious competition to the WWE programming, and there is no other Product out there, WWE has become stale and watered down for at least the last 7yrs. Japan and Indie wrestling is the only places left where you can at least still see some good stuff going on IN THE RING.
