I noticed them first via the video for no kind words, largely due to the appearance of the gavin and stacey bloke. Then I Will Love You Better blew me away, but having listened to their debut album I thought they may be a one of two song wonder band like a large majority of so called indie acts. However having finally started listening to the second LP this past 49 hours, it is a VERY good collection of songs, and this is a stand out with a beautiful final refrain.

it annoys me that they dont receive the attention they truly deserve! we've got soo many crap acts in the charts getting attention when most of them dont even write their own stuff, and then you get a band like the maccabees who work so hard and are soo amazing, and they are still a small band approaching their third album??? too many rappers and processed x factor acts for me!

@emily80253 because the situation is worse in the USA. I'm a British citizen in the USA and the music industry over here is just awful. Rap music gets the fame and good bands are not even known. At least in the UK Radio 1 and that put a clean eye on what is good and what is bad
