  • notice almost all of the poverty is down south, I live in Massachusetts, and i have never seen anything like this, like two different countries

  • Continued..... I've worked many jobs while in school making minimum wage where I worked alongside many blacks who were content to make minimum wage and get no benefits. You can go to many factories even now especially in the South and find blacks making close to nothing who are so loyal to their employers that they will never leave. Never look for anything better. I use to not understand but many blacks get complacent. Especially when a white boss treats them good.. They won't look for better.

  • I have mixed feelings on this video. I am an educated black woman and I have a very good job. I am originally from the Mississippi Delta but now reside in Dallas, TX. I left MS at 18. I moved to Atlanta (on my own with no help using Federal Student Aid) and left that life of poverty and misery behind. But the reason I have mixed feelings is because I've worked many low paying jobs with backbreaking labor while in school. I met many, MANY, blacks who were content making minimum wage so long....

  • Obama changed the United States. It kept poor.

  • It's crazy how America can help everybody else but when it come to us who didn't come here voluntary we our forgot about. Reparations are in order. America gotta make it right with us who are left behind. PERIOD. This should be on President Obama list of priorities. REPARATIONS NOW.

  • When people ask"what can I do about it?" it kills me. Here is a answer-SOMETHING!!! think of something to do and do it!!

Also, I find it interesting that these sharecropper families NEVER say anything negative about the white person getting the money from their work. A perfect example of the SLAVE MENTALITY.

  • Awwww. Ms. Coleman say's yes ma'am to the interviewer. Ms. coleman looks hold enough to be the interviews mother.

  • I saw some of this before! The question is what will we collectively do about it?

    Thanks for sharing!
