This sport has grown so much in just the last 5 or 10 years, kids are doing stuff that pros were doing back in the 80s. I don't know if the parents are now recognizing this as any other competitive sport, but I'm just blown away by these films now. Really good editing too. I've done alittle of both and this is quite skilled.

I'm an old skate/snowboarder. now... 29 yrs old an I don't skate much anymore cuz of my bad lower body joints. But, man, I still have the sport empreignated on my mind and heart and when I see these kinda warm atmosphere skatevids... I have tears in my eyes. Good job - keep it goin higher!

@philacoudre i am also 29 and skated for most of my youth, i have a bad back myself, and somehow 2 dislocated discs in my neck, but that wasn't my point to this... just wanted to say that i could not have possibly said anything about this clip any better than you did. I love to see how skateboarding has progressed, and i love how today's up and comers still keep the old school tricks alive.. just amazing.

@philacoudre , i also went to skate again last week, and i attempted a pop shuvit, all was well except the landing, i landed all my weighton the tail, and the board flew out from under me and i flew back and landed directly on my tail bone.. i think my skate days are behind me :) ... i was sore for a few days, i'm doing alrigt now
