  • ジル ガンブス is great!

  • He was the main pianist for Paul Mauriat, right?

  • Right! He worked with Paul Mauriat for around 30 years as a pianist, and main partner, composer, for Paul Mauriat then, when Paul became ill he asked Mr. Gilles Gambus himself to take the leadership of his orchestra. They were very close!

  • Thanks. Looks like you are from Japan, right? I've been watching a live clip by Paul Mauriat & his orchestra ( Osaka '98 ) titled "Dolls and Dreams" & was deeply moved. As I have the dual cassettes Vendetta that also includes such impressive cut . The question is, who's the lady playing that Japanese instrument?

  • On YouTube, of course.

  • This is a beautiful and amazing music arragement. I also do like Dolls and Dreams. Well, the koto (japanese instrument) player is called Mieko Myazaki and Gilles Gambus hired her for his very first tour in Japan to play a koto solo for ERICA'S SONG. They did a very good job together!

  • Thanks for that beautiful sound!

  • Glad to know you like it guys!

  • Like it! Pretty nice!

  • Awesome! His sound is perfect! Fond of him!
