I can't see anyone having written this... so I thought I would just say; this video portrays similar events that happened in the amazing film "stand by me". The hitting the mailbox, the railway track and the 4 friends. Obviously not only the images are the same I think she also wants to link the themes running through the film with that of her song. I don't know why there are no comments mentioning this, or maybe there are, or maybe it was so obvious no one bothered so yeh..that's that.

I have had the opportunity to hang out with Maria Taylor before. She is a fun-loving sweetheart, and I think this video shows that side of her. She's so beautiful, and for those who aren't familiar with her other music etc. then you wouldn't really get "it." Plus she has friends (Morgan) in the video to make it more fun. I don't think negativity was a part of the concept at all.

Those saying the point of the video is that looks can be deceiving are correct. The women in the video look like pretty, well-mannered women; not the type you'd expect to see going around breaking mailboxes, putting trash on train tracks, tagging, etc.

As tons of others, I heard this on Bones, and LOVED it. I didn't like the season finale when I saw it, but I like it more now that season 5 has started.

I really like this video, too. It's pretty obviously not saying you should go commit crimes. I think it has to do with looks being deceiving and people underestimating others...

I think you're taking the video to literally. It isn't saying, "destructive behavior is good and fun" it's just using the radical behavior as a more dynamic metaphor for the things that you would do if you realized that you only have so long to live. As the song implies, we live a time lapsed life; we think that we have so much time to do all the things we want only to realize that time is somewhat of an illusion. So what would you do if you accepted that fact? That's all their behavior implies.
