Class 27 start up and pull away South West Digital

I like your terrier on the nose of the 20,but don't remember ever seeing that before?

The signal lights your useing,where do you get them from, they are most certainly not hornby?

Hi

There were several 20s that were shedded at Eastfield that got Westies on the mid 1980s.

The signals are Traintronics and are very lifelike and easy to install. Cost a bit more but worth it. The ground signals are Eckon.

I was looking at those signals with my mouth open at the price for 1.. but I suppose if they are worth it then got to get them.

Just 1 thing, what make it the platform? is it a plastic kit?

No the platform is custom built to fit the site. It is a model board core skinned with plastkard on face. The edge stones are fitted individually and the top is painted with dark grey and then sprinkled all over while wet with dry dark grey tile grout powder whish is dusted off, leaving a thin layer on top.

I found 26s and 27s on the ehattons web site,not expensive,but they need dirtied up,don't think i've ever seen a clean one in my life..

ok i've got to ask,where or how did you get the ploughs from?

them 27s look the part(26s too?),very real looking.

Did you modify a class33 to creat them?

If so,i'm sending you my 33,was never a fan of class33s anyway.;-)

All you need to do now is get smoke out of them,perfection ;-)

The locos are all modified Heljan 26s and 27s. With requsite modernising done. We plate door windows in 26s, remove cab front beading, add (correct) ploughs, radio roof pods where applicable. The sound cards are South West Digital 24s for the 26s and SWD 25s for the 27s.
