Toyota Yaris 1.0 top speed

Man you really ripping the shit out of that wee 1.0 engine they aint designed for this type of speed the engine chassis and brakes cant cope with this abuse for long something will go if you continue like that. these are city cars not Autobahn stormers.

@CIKO32123 We have a Yaris 2004 model as a 2nd car, i drive it when i need to go into town, I know this car feels strained at 80mph let alone 100mph, it just is not equipped to do these speeds, drum brakes in the rear skinny 175 tyres the entire car only weights about 850 KGS. No thanks i will stick to my Lexus if i want to go over 100mph, which i rarely do.

Wow... That's amazing! Bet it feels like it's gonna shake itself to bits at that insane speed....! Driven a t sport and was bored to tears tbh - slow slow slow. 1.0L cars were never designed to be exciting, just a way to make the car move in order to get a granny to the shops once a week.

Ok, what you should do is the following.

1. take the spare wheel out from the boot.

2. take the back seat out.

3. run the tank on 3 bar.

That should save you a bit of weight XD. Btw I got a 1.3L version and thats what I did atm. It takes off pretty fast at the lights.
