  • Bullshit man, the hangover is such pointless immature comedy, this was such a better movie...

  • Are you kidding - this owned the Hangover.

  • I'm disappointed by this review. I found this movie very funny. Not only that you actually start to care about the characters, and so the ending is so much better because of it. Definitely an underrated movie.

  • LoL as pathetic as it sounds...I had tears flowing by the end of this movie. The story was beautiful and reminded me of the movie Click

  • Wow, the people who reviewed this movie are lame! This movie is AWESOME!!!

  • anyone know that background song towards the end?

  • @jewbzilla If I remember correctly it's Talking Heads' "Once in a Lifetime"

  • I Agree About the Chevy Chase Character, Really Under utilized a

  • I thought the Hangover sucked, and so did Hot tub time machine they're both overhyped pieces of shit.Superbad was a little bit better, but also sucked ass. It's like we're suppose to bust a gut every time they say a kuss word. There's more to comedy then Kussing.I'd reccomend Mcgruber, and Observe, and report over both of those.Because they are actually funny...

  • @cloudvol7 Dude, you have terrible taste in movies. Mcgruber and Observe, and Report are two of the worst movies I've ever seen. Now I'll grant you that HTTM wasn't very good, but it was better than either of those movies. As for the Hangover it was the best Guy movie since Swingers!

  • @broncojuan I fell asleep on the Hangover to me it's way over hyped, and it was just really boring with kussing, and HTTM was also boring, and you say I have bad taste,is that what passes for a comedy nowaday's,the show the Office also suck's,Communities better! Hangover's like a dark comedy?Dark comedy is slang for not funny,I will say however that Observe, and report wasn't that great, but Mcgruber was pretty good, although it could of been a PG13 not an R.Kussing for the sake of kussing is lame!

  • @cloudvol7 I agree, cussing for the sake of cussing is lame, but they didn't do that in the Hangover. Was there cussing? Yup, but the cussing was never meant as a joke itself. In fact if you paid attention to the movie you would notice that one on the running jokes is that Alan rarely cusses. I'm not sure what you problem with "kussing" is but believe it or not that is how most people talk. I can only guess that you're a very uptight 16 year old who spends WAY too much time at church.

  • @broncojuan People who walk around kussing all the time, and that aren't funny are known as dueche bags.So that's what Hollywood's promoting nowaday's with really kussified, not even funny movies, that was HTTM,even though Hang over was a little bit better, but not much, and Mcgruber was actually funny not some dumb ass Dark comedy. So call me uptight,I think you should definatley go back to church, you and anyone who craves really kussified, boring, crap movies!

  • @cloudvol7 I would rather be cussed at than lied too. You go to church I'll I'm not interested.

  • I think the movie wasn`t that funny

  • The repairman should've been Christopher Lloyd

  • Cusack sucked, they should've gotten someone different. But, that didn't stop this movie from being the funniest movie I've seen in years. Corddry, Robinson, and Sebastion Shaw were all funny. It could've been the funniest movie ever if they got someone more funny instead of Cusack.

  • A way better movie than your review of it!

  • Way better than I thought it would be. This was actually a really solid film.

  • I don't know what thr fuck I was talking about in my last comment I just wanted to quote HTTM " awww is it still on me.. Awwww did you have pineapple?" But if anyone out there understood what I was saying comment on it

  • I don't know about you guys but I love this movie, I thought it was funny and disgusting enough to satisfy my need for nasty humor. Unlike the hangover it doesn't get dry on some areas of the skin it keeps it very very moist but its not better than hangover and the hangover isn't better than HTTM I think if HTTM had came out last year everyone would be going ape shit for it instead of the hangover. The hangover is meaning with comedy and HTTM comedy with meaning that's a way to describe it.

  • 1. the hangover is good, yes, but no THAT funny

    2. I personally liked HTTM better

  • I know a lot of people just want to jump on the "I hate the Hangover" band wagon, but I would agree that Hot Tub Time Machine was a lot funnier in my opinion. I don't know, maybe it's because The Hangover tried too hard, I don't know. I'm a Galifianakis fan, but his character was sort of typecast for him, and I wanted to be surprised. That and whenever you bring up The Hangover, that's all people talk about is THAT character, it's annoying. I enjoyed both, but HTTM hit my funny bone.

  • Bullshit Rotten Tomatoes!! This movie was hysterical!!! Why don't you stuck up reviewers relax and smoke a joint before movies like this. You might get it then...

  • this movie made hangover look like gigli........but fuck cusack...i didnt even know he was in it till i watched it.....this was a craig robinson movie. he should have had top billing.

  • the hangover is overrated.

  • @senseidryan what how no its not its awesome so funny

  • @brutalistlegend

the hangover is a funny movie i'll admit that, but not nearly as funny as people make it out to be. i just don't see the reason for people to compare other comedies to the hangover to judge how good it is. personally, i think this is a much funnier movie.

  • @senseidryan well thats your opinion IMO httm sucks compared to the hangover

  • @senseidryan I think The Hangover is funny to most people of all ages that have been to Vegas. I loved Hot Tub Time Machine, but it wouldnt appeal to my husband or parents...they wouldnt have got the $2 dollar reference from "Better off Dead" or the reference from "Back to the future" with the youngest dissappearing as time moved on.

  • @jrandjanet I got all of those references and I wasn't even around for the 80's. I'm just a very big fan of 80's culture: the music, the movies, and everything else. Thats probably one reason why it appeals to me so much more. But on top of that i just thought that the jokes and the plot itself were a lot funnier in this movie than in The Hangover.

p.s. Also, i loved how Crispin Glover made a cameo in this movie. Priceless!!

  • This was a sick film @ adametheridge wth? Why did you even bother talking dude

  • The previews and trailers for this movie don't do it justice. I didn't think it looked THAT funny but i went to see it anyway and i ended up loving it!

  • 100% great movie

  • This movie was to funny! I love all the 80's stuff and rob corrdry singing crue was the best!

Idk why everyone jumps on the hang over's di@k it wasn't that funny!

  • i hope the people who reviewed this in the video see this comment.... YOUR STUPID AND I HATE TOMATOES! this movie was great!!

  • hangover sucks.

  • These guys are r tards. This movie is fjorkin HILARIOUS.

  • I saw this movie yesterday and I thought it was awesome. They say John Cusack looked worn out but he's been in a bunch of movies recently and he's in his 40's. He should be a bit tired. Craig Robinson, Awesome. Rob Corddry , great. Clark Duke did a great job for his role too. It's clear they were expecting a goofy, no-brain slapstick film, then they are disappointed that it had a plot. I disagree with the rating and I would give it 95 - 100% fresh.

  • @onequitebitterbeing I agree!!

  • horriable review enuff said

  • I thought this movie was funny. I loved the hang over. But its really over rated. I dont know maybe because I saw it 2 and a half times in theaters lol. I thought super bad was better than it. I would have to say that this movie was on par with hang over. I think the thing that means more is who do I go with the movies with. Watching movies with my dad isnt the same as watching them with my best friends you know?

  • it was really laugh out loud!

  • Thanks for your life story Adam, we loved it. April fools! We hated it.

  • @AceFantastic Neat. I gave you something to write about. Must be a first for you.

  • this was better than alice in wonderland...

  • My girlfriend went and saw this last night, but had nothing to say about it when she got back. I know, you think she's getting laid instead of going to movies. Probably. But not the point. We're both Cusak fans. But I took a vow NEVER to spend money at the movies ever again. So I didn't go. Instead, I watched "Hancock" on DVD, which was pretty good. At least that had laugh-out-loud moments...

  • @AdamEtheredge Wow no one cares.

  • @spawnoftheshred I don't care that no one cares.
