@TokyosPrincess Acctualy they where swearing a whole lot more than they did nowadays. Try some clips on youtube from the HBO series Deadwood. They painstakenly made every detail as authetntic as possible...which included the language and the way they talked in those days (and swearing).
@ColdStab The Series 'Deadwood' was one of the best I've ever seen on tv..Absolute classic tv in my humble opinion.. If it has any truth whatsoever to it then the West was really a dodgy place to go and make ur fortune, eh? I think I would have struggled to last maybe a week in that place?..haha! Ok, i mean a day! lol...
What!? It was a scary place. tHEY DID A HELL OF A LOT OF SWEARING IN DEADWOOD..The tv show that is...Some of the filth they spoke was unbelievable..Some of the goings on..lol
@reaper060670 Well Reaper, you might be surprised to know that even Sol Star, Al Swearengen, Seth Bullock have really existed. Sure , they took liberties, and especially Al Searengen wasn't as well known. But he was a real person. Along with more known characters as Charly Utter, Wild Bill, Calamity Jane and some other characters from the series. I wouldnt want to live in Deadwood in those days, thats for sure :-)
I've listened to Swedish accents most of my life but I still find them a little strange coming from characters who seem to be the James and Younger brothers, unless there were a lot of outlaws named Jesse, Frank, Cole, etc. Still, the movie seems pretty well made.
The American Old West or Wild West comprises the history, geography, peoples, lore, and ... the myths of the West took firm hold in the imagination of Americans and foreigners alike. read your history books there were many foreigner cowboy's
At the end of his life, the deadliest gunfighter of the Old West is given a choice: Hell or redemption. He chooses redemption and God's Archangel transports him to modern day Los Angeles to serve bloody, frontier justice on the worst dregs of society.
Veldig fort å overdrive, og den fellen har filmmakeren gått i dessverre.. Lyden er rar, og karakterene sliter med troverdighet.. Men filmteknisk er det meget bra håndtverk.. Meget bra.
A viking western, not bad ! Swedes in Minnesota historic fact ! The give away are the 14 hand high stocky horse flesh. Lots of cocking of guns to make a point. To many outlaws for to little take. Well done. for the 80's.
Bra jobbat Danne. Det är kul att se efter alla dessa år, synd att ingen hittat orginalljudet men så är det. Ljuset och bilderna är grymt snygga (det som vi filmade 1986)
This was pretty good. I liked this almost as much as I liked the film, Good for Nothing. bit. ly/eOX07K
