I have to say I totally agree with you. I had the pleasure of seeing The Eagles and I will say they are no country band and this certainly isn't a country song. They were amazing one of the best shows I have ever seen and will never forget hearing this song which received a standing ovation that last a good 10 - 15 minutes!

@hotvixxen19 Actually when I lived in the Tampa Bay area, the radio station that plyed primarily country music, singers like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, and Charley Pride, also used to play a lot of Eagles songs. This definitely was one of them. Among others I remember that they would play Lying Eyes, and Desperado as well.
