Blake against Jordin is almost laughable. Jordin is light-years ahead of Blake and the pace of the songs would not have changed that. To SierraNichole: Blake can sing slow songs - 'Somewhere Only We Know', 'She Will Be Loved', and 'Time Of The Season' all got rave reviews. The problem is, rather, that 'This Is My Now' is too sappy - only a singer like Jordin could pull it off.

The thing is, every single year the final song is a slow ballad like this. "A Moment Like This", "I Believe", "This Is My Now"--that's just the way it is. It's not like they intentionally did it for Jordin, it's that way EVERY year.

Blake isn't a versatile singer, apparently, and that's something you need. He may not have to sing every style, but he should be able to sing slow as well as fast. And he can't.
