I don`t understand how you know where to burnish when the template is under the card...

@kitty3309 Mostly guesswork. A lot of dry embossing works the same way. Some people buy a mini light table so they can see where the spaces are.
I temporarily taped the template so the dots showed up where I wanted them to.

LUV your card! More info on the size of the card stock used for the card would be helpful.

The whole idea is for me put the dots exactly where I want them.

Wow, that's alot of hard work! You should get a Cuttlebug...one swipe through it and your paper's embossed. And they just recently came out with a polkadot embossing folder. Very cute cards!
