I grew up in the United States during the fifties and sixties and I remember hearing what a great Country the United States is because of freedom. Back then I really believed I lived in a country of freedom, but todday I see the government mistreating the citizens of the U.S. and taking more and more freedoms away. I think most goverment officials are just a bunch of rich welfare recepients who think they are a bunch of kings and queens and not representatives for the people of the U.S.

I agree completely. I have been serving in the military for five years, and I view this law is a stain on the military's honor. It is very good to know that these men support it being repealed.

It is completely insulting and mind boggling to think that, while reservists and national guardsmen/women are being called in despite being in the middle of their careers or education, people are being turned away for their sexual preference.
