i have to say that you have awsome traps but i don't think you got those from shrugs. i know that you do a lot of deadlifts and that's why you got very good traps. keep it up.
strong traps are paramount for working out every muscle group. the best workouts for acute size gain are heavy deadlifts (with full lock out), power cleans, hang cleans and snatches. i do these 3 times a fortnight 20-30 mins a time (never repeating the same work out) and my traps are constantly aching. the adjunct leg work boosts your testosterone levels and you get in a decent session of HIIT cardio. it is all you need. give it a go. also eat big to be big. :)

"Lower inner traps", really? Your traps, just like your chest or biceps, are one muscle. You can't train your "upper chest", because there's no such thing. The shape of your chest is determined by genetics. You can only increase or decrease the overall size of the muscle - anything else is simply genetics. This is pretty basic stuff that's understood by anyone with even a topical understanding of muscle physiology.

@dgwear69 that is not true. there are pple on youtube, that spout misinformation. Don't trust anything you hear or see. most trustworthy source would be from guys, strength coaches, that have been lifting for many years, have degrees and experience with clients, that also have an impressive physique to back it up. And even then, don't trust anything, unless you experience it first hand, and if it works for you. Though, you're right, this kid here knows quite a bit, and they're pretty much true.
@scondore I did watch the 3.5 weeks out video... I amdit its better quality muscles but still not impressed... anyway, keep working out and eating big you ll get results for sure.

Sometimes other back muscles do not make complex movements they are there to keep your spinal bone stright, so giving them complex movements may not help in terms of development or improvement in function.

I've really been trying to get bigger, but not much has worked, i mean, i try to eat protein filled foods, drink water and healthy drinks, and get plenty of rest, but that still isn't working, so i came to you for some help.Well, i've been looking into some supplements, and really thought about using some, i've saved up about 600$+, and i really want to know what exactly i should get, before i do, and of course i want to stay all natural, no steroids, i mean, what goods a nice body

The more you do an exercise (as you say "everyday), the more your body adapts to the exercise, and less a challenge the exercise poses. You could definitely build some muscle doing pure calisthenics for a while (maybe a year or two--given that your add SOME variation as you go on...in this case, changing positions, and increasing reps, changing time-undertenstion, etc--AND YOU GET PROPER NUTRITION ..protein every 2-3 hrs etc.)

Good vid. Some good ideas. Middle trap strength and upper trap strength are very important for over all shoulder health. I find that face pulls and angled rear delt raises also get the middle traps.

Thanks for the video, but there are few things i see wrong.
First, the way you keep the arms in your shrugs will eventually destroy your rotator cuff joint, and you don't want that, so please be careful when you do it, for the sake of your career.
Also, I think that instead of pulldowns, most people (except pro bodybuilders like you) -the people that watch your vids- should do pullups just because they are superior to pulldowns.
@anthraxx94 MOST people cannot do 8-12 pull-ups.. that is why the pulldown is used.. and his form is fine. if anything he just defeats the purpose of dumbbells because he is moving them to the front like you would hold a bar.
@milroxsox lifting belts increases pressure in ur abdominal area to decrease pressure on ur lower back. if u feel like ur going very heavy on back excercises. go for it such as deadlifts and rowing
you dont know how to do shrugs, im 18 ive been working out for only 1 year and i still have better form than you. shoulders back bro.

Good vid. Some good ideas. Middle trap strength and upper trap strength are very important for over all shoulder health. I find that face pulls and angled rear delt raises also get the middle traps.

Thanks for the video, but there are few things i see wrong.
First, the way you keep the arms in your shrugs will eventually destroy your rotator cuff joint, and you don't want that, so please be careful when you do it, for the sake of your career.
Also, I think that instead of pulldowns, most people (except pro bodybuilders like you) -the people that watch your vids- should do pullups just because they are superior to pulldowns.

@anthraxx94 MOST people cannot do 8-12 pull-ups.. that is why the pulldown is used.. and his form is fine. if anything he just defeats the purpose of dumbbells because he is moving them to the front like you would hold a bar.

@milroxsox lifting belts increases pressure in ur abdominal area to decrease pressure on ur lower back. if u feel like ur going very heavy on back excercises. go for it such as deadlifts and rowing
