i already know I will never buy any of these horrible pedals. Reminds me of a Korg multi effects unit I had back in the 90's, that I couldn't get one single decent sound out of it.

Epiphone makes some great guitars, they also make some that arent so great. But i think what paul is thryin to show how these pedals sound through an average guitar so you hear the pedal and not the guitar

epiphone is using these as advertising because the majority of their viewers would be more inclined to buy epiphone. since its in their price range

I wouldn't think so, because Epiphone is owned by Gibson. The might as well show off their Gibson because half the people watching this per say can afford a Gibson, and even more might lean towards the Studio. Gibson might as well just advertise the classic Gibson name; 50% viewers buying Gibsons would make more money than 60-70% buying Epiphones.

It could be because they want to show the sound that MOST will hear since not a whole lot of GuitarWorld's viewers can afford the most expensive equipment, like Gibson. Could be. Or it could just be that Paul likes the Epiphone.
