I would suggest you read "The Way of Divine Love," the story of the revelations of the Sacred Heart to Servant of God Sr. Josefa Menendez from Spain in the early twentieth century. Read about how humble Our Lord is and how he always told her to obey her superiors, even over his requests. He would tell her to seek first permission, in order to be allowed to converse with him. It is in act's of love, humility and obedience, that we allow God to act through us. Peace be with you.

I do agree with you Xtoc that we have to be faithful to the church. I have learned to stick with Approved apparitions by the church. Although it is sad if it is the devil himself leading us to believe that "our Lady" is appearing in these not yet approved places of Hope. One day, we will know just exactly what is going on in medjugoje. One thing is for sure, If it is not Our Lady, she will crush the devil that much harder!!

I also never believed that Satan would have the gall to appear as Our Lord or Our Lady, but he has. There are several recorded incidences, to name one, in the revelations given to Sr. Josefa Menendez, where the devil appeared as Our Lord and tried to deceive her. Our Lord then appeared to her and told her to tell the vision the next time to repeat after her her vows and The Divine Praises. After a couple of words, the devil could not continue saying such words of praise to God. He vanished.

People said the same things about Necedah, Bayside, South Korea, Scottsdale, etc. You think everything has been all roses, well, let me share with you something else. If you really want to be fair, why don't you give the opposite view an opportunity to present it's case. This is the thing with "apparition chasers," of which I once was.....THEY LACK HUMILITY NEEDED IN ORDER TO DISCERN WHAT IS AND NOT OF GOD. Pray first to the gifts of the Holy Spirit and I'll guarantee you won't regret it.

This picture was not made in Medjugorje. This was a true story a miracle that happened in FATIMA. I believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three Distinct persons, One God! I also believe that GOD loves every person that was ever created, and that includes His Mother. The proof of that fact is that HE died on the Cross,gave Her to John(us, as members).I also believe that He arose from the dead and HE is ever present and wants us to Know, Love and Serve HIM!

The same thing happened and is still, sadly enough, in Garabandal. Those so-called apparitions have never been approved, yet some still promote them as if they have been. Just stick to the Holy Mass, Rosary, and visit the Blessed Sacrament and you will be fine. No need to stake your faith on something that has not been approved and contrarily, actually been very controversial and devisive and has lacked much humility from the alleged visionaries.

We all need to be Humble and learn Humility as Jesus has taught us well. I pray that everyone follows completely the teachings of the church and most of all we must be obedient. It must be terribly hard for those who have witnessed a miracle here. I pray that the church finds these apparitions to be Holy! God Bless all of you!! Pray the rosary!!

I suggest you search mystical theology and St. John of the Cross and discover what he preached to those who seek "signs and wonders" in order to sustain their faith. Have you ever considered that it may have Lucifer himself that is running rampant in that area, happy that the parishioners and those who go there are out of touch with the Church hierarchy due to their ignorant and stubborn disobedience? Satan said, "I will not serve." Don't emulate his thinking. It's addictive. Be careful.

I used to believe in Medjugorje, but I am disappointed at the total disrespect shown to the bishops and rome from the Franciscans there. I haven't gone there but I know many who have and they were not impressed there as you were. I also experienced seemingly "miraculous" things at Conyers and Phoenix (Estela Ruiz's house), but it does not supplant my respect for the final judgment that is reserved to the Bishop of the diocese alone. You lack humility my friend.

I am sorry to tell you, but the Church has not proclaimed any such pronouncement as of yet. As a matter of fact, the local bishop, who has total jurisdictionary authority to make such announcements, has not stated anything at all detailing any supernatural occurrence happening there. We must be odedient to the Church for the sake of unity. Therefore, please do not make blanket statements affirming something that is not true. In this manner, you please Our Lady and Our Lord.

The tone of your response sounds nothing like that of what a humble, obedient child of Our Lady expects of us. How are you so certain that Our Lady is appearing there? Who gave you the authority to make such definitive statements? Are you the local ordinary there? Or in other words, the bishop, who is the only one who can decide whether something that is allegedly occurring in his diocese is authentic. "Whether the church approves or not," that's quite a proud and bold stance you take.

That is a whole other problem to begin with. The priests who acted as "hosts" and/or tour guides were there in a defiant act of disobedience to the Bishop of Mostar, Bishop Peric. Did the priests' bishop in his diocese give him permission to leave for Medjugorje? If so, he is causing scandal as it is by going against the wishes of Bishop Peric. If the priests went without any permission, well, I'll let you answer that. Again, it is all just a simple case of respect for proper authority.
