Korn vs. Slipknot Volume 2

I believe that two different bands can not be compared. I like them both bands very much, but if I were to choose, I'd probably say Korn. Only because they've worked harder (hence their 11 albums, compared to Slipknot's 4) and because of how unique, influential, and innovative they are. Not to say Slipknot isn't unique because they are it's just that they're not as unique as Korn. Hate to say it Maggots, but the Children of the Korn have this one.

1) Korn does not need 9 people to kick ass

2)Jonathan's Lyrics and Vocals for the win..

3)Fieldy's bass is just omg!! It's a win right there like come on!

4)Korn's percussion has rythm and sliknots is just speed...it's music not a race track..

5) Korn's guitars is just mind traveling and scary and sic ina good way! Those sounds are just awesome...

6)It's not about aggressive and heavy it's about music. Korn can play anything they want..

Fieldy's deff for bass, but head was actually korn's lead guitarist and i'd say between the guitarists they're equally talented, same goes for vocals - corey and jon both bring their own sound to the table so its not really possbile to choose, but if i HAD to pick drummers it would be joey forsure, david was amazing & prolly one of the only drummers who could have fit korns style but joey's prolly one of the only drummers who could have fit slipknots style like he did. Overall i'd pick KoRn tho

This is just an opinion, but i love bands and die by both, but i'd give it to Korn. The emotion is so strong.While i do love slipknot, their creativity is insane, great in concert, yet they rely on to many members to make a complex sound. Overall i'd give it to korn, yet Slipknots insane.

joey is a better drummer, feildy is a better bass player, head has groove but mick and james have leads corey taylor has better vocals, hed and munkey have sound effects but slipknot has a sampler and dj... slipknot has more talent because they have more people...korn came out before slipknot and was one of my favorites,but slipknot was somethin fresh.. now sense they are both old i have different favorites because i found bands thats were better. i think slipknot is better due to creativity.

slipknot use to be my 2nd favorite band with koRn in 1st and always will be. but since i heard sublimenal veases slipknot has dropped to like 45th and after i heard all hope is gone slipknot have dropped to my 98th favorite band. just my opinion sublimenal verses wasent heavy at all just alternative rock too many effects on the album. and all hope is gone just fucked them over with like waaaay to many more effects on the album. and now Limp Bizkit are my second favorite band.

korn has much more substance to their music than Slipknot. Their styles are completely different.... Korn's music is all about being hurt, or Jonathans past which usually always is built off of hurt and suffering. Slipknot is much more emotionless....and are openly a band that is "evil" lyrical wise. Korn may sound "evil" at times, but they never have a bad message, it is their past that influences the disturbing music they make, and is a healing to some listeners... Thats my opinion.

But honestly SlipKnoT's way better now, imo Corey Taylors a better singer, Jonathan Davis is way too whiney now and not as aggressive as he used to be. and i thought anything KoRn put out after issues was awful besides a few songs here and there, and losing half the friggin band didnt help either.
