Everything you've heard is false. Duckadam had an aneurism. He had that problem even before the final, but it became worse soon after. He had an operation at his arm, if he had stayed without an operation he would have died. The operation saved his life, but his career was over. It is the true story, Duckadam himself confirmed it.

He tried his luck in politics, he was even a candidate for the Romanian Parliament in 2008, but he failed to enter. And now he wants to open a Football School, in which the Goalkeepers will be the most important part.
