@tmge6l6l6l You don't read it in Japanese... If you go to the "manga" section of a book store like Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc. there is translated text so it is all in English, but you still read it right to left. And there is the anime as well where you can watch it dubbed over in English using different voice actors, or you watch it in the original Japanese voicing with English subtitles.

@paramorechick007 Unless it's Naruto. Sorry but the translations on the DVDs SUCK. Seriously I watched the first series in Japanese with English subs for the bits I was unsure on. I think I got as far as episode 25 or something (don't call me on which series or which exact episode it was a year ago) and the subs were WRONG. Not like subtly like I'd expect, I mean he said 'Dattebayo!' and the subs were saying 'Believe it!'. A lot of the jokes are lost through that along with a lot of storyline.
