In the video he refers to an m14. Is he refering to the mini 14 or the m14 asthese are to totally different weapons. The mini 14 is a light wieght carbine designed to fire the 5.56 or .223 round and has a limited range. The m14 or "Thunder Lizard" is a select fire .308 or 7.62 calber rifle with a much greater effetive range. The m14 fires a stout round and is tough to control on full auto but can effectively nutralze threats even hardened threats.

He is showing an M1 in .30cal. Not a common round, but good for what he explains it for. The mini30 is 7.62x39 and M1 and M14 are normally .308, 7.62mm NATO.

Depends on what country you are from. M-1 Carbines are legal here in the US, although some states restrict the mag capacity. And yes, Daisy used to sell an M-1 Carbine-style BB gun.

has the advantage in terms of spare parts and cost of mags(were 3 15rd for$1.00)Corbon makes

the new DPX load for carbine with 2 inches more penetration over 5.56 DPX load.Victory!
