this video was seriously so helpful!!! thank you!!! i had no idea on how to use that darn pen tool...now i do...thank u soooo much.. your bff, corey!!!!!!
Alternatively... Draw your outline path directly over the image. Create a gradient mesh from the path Press Ctrl-Y to go to outline mode Press 'a' and select a single point Press' i' and click on that point Press and hold the ctlr key to temporarily switch back to the white arrow tool and select the next point. Release the ctrl key and click on the same point with the eyedropper Rinse and repeat for all points on the mesh. Toggle ctrl-y to see which points still need colour Hope that helps o/
great vid but i have a specific question. i wanna make a simple radial gradient, but i dont want it eminating from the center. is there a way i can make a radial gradient effect spawn from a corner or something? besides using the mesh tool, cuz its not working for me lol. anyone?
@doseiaisha sorry for the late response. You can use the Gradient Tool instead, open the "gradient window" from window and click the little arrow on the top right side followed by "show options" choose the radial gradient type. Then select G key on your keyboard and click-drag it across your image till you have achieved your desired effect.
@Brandon75689 I am sorry for the late feedback, I never got the notification for this comment. Sadly I didn't make an orange last time; but I hope the tutorial helped you in making one yourself. If not, I can make one for you in my future tutorials :)
@KatanaTopple I used Inskape for a long while, but man, jump to illustrator as soon as possible, it's much better and damn, the inkscape shortcuts are lame when ur used to them and u go to another program (F1 => help, in illustrator).
haha i know what you mean, it looks like a tedious process but it's all about patience and passion :) it sounds like you are good at drawing, would love to see some of your work some day.
@manikexports, I just alternated between the "A" and "I" button on my keyboard to switch between the two tools. It saves time and energy :)
@mwahohoho I wasn't that fast hehe, I had to speed up some parts while editing to get the point across in lesser time :) I wish I was that fast though!!
thank u so much u guys for all the encouraging comments!
I have been absent for a real long time and just saw all these comments..
A lot of people have been asking me about the track name, it's actually a random (but suitable) one i selected from the tracks available on Youtube. I will check the name for you and let you know.
Its awesome NICE one keep it up
