Hans Zimmer has made a lot of good music. But NOT THIS ONE! The composer (and actual singer) is Denez Prigent, a young and talented Breton singer. The song was composed long before Ridley Scott made his movie "Black Hawk Down". The music was added afterwhile. Sorry for Zimmer!

The song itself is in Breton, one of the oldest language on the European Continent and still alive. "Gortoz a ran, gortozet 'm eus pell", I wait, I'm waiting since a long time... A love song.
