@al1936ful Not for me. I wonder if it has to do with the size of your cache. Try pausing in until the full thing loads and then watch. I'm pretty low-tech so this may not be the answer...
This was the start of the evolution of music in America. I lived in CT. when the Beatles came to NY. Nearly 50 years later I have about 20 or so of their albums.
Never will forget this date, Feb 9 is my birthday, celebrated number 11 on this night, best present i got that year, and perhaps put me on track to become a singer and musician 5 years later when i first picked up a harmonica after listening to Paul Butterfield
@John1948OneC3 They did I Saw her Standing There between She Loves You and I Want to Hold Your Hand, and Ed Sullivan informing the audience of the wire from Elvis is the first thing he said on the show
@John1948OneC3 There is a lot more than this!, about 25 minutes worth of the beatles performing. This is the first part and the second part is also easily available via bootleg dvd's. I happen to obtain a copy of one of them so i'll upload it.
@yonoquieroESTAMADRE The song is Money (That's What I Want). It was originally recorded by Barrett Strong on the TAMLA label. The Beatles, and many others, covered it later. I can't tell who's singing it in this clip because the audio is not too clear.
Imagine, Elvis wishing the Beatles luck! Wow. They are the greatest, most influential band of all-time. I watched Blackeyed Peas during the Super Bowl and couldn't help but think: Where have all the good groups gone. There will never be another Beatles.
