The new Mustang's are awesome now. Ford has done a great job with the recent models of all their vehicles in both design and reliability. Hyundai has also come a long way and did a great job with the Genesis. Both are good cars for the money.

you can snag 300+whp with I/H/E on a 6 speed 3.8l and bang for the buck the 3.8l has been proven to be better. it would take more money to add parts and tune the 2.0t to put down the stock power of a 3.8l... now upgrading the turbo would make it easy to pass the 300 mark but that will cost you too...and they already have a 550 hp turbo 3.8l and some 400+hp s/c ones as well... :)
True 'dat. I hate the paddle shifters, myself. Be a man and use a good ol' stick!! But I wouldn't buy the 2.0. There are 3.8 Coupe's that have already been modded (with no direct engine tinkering) to get 500 HP out of them. That's what I'm doing with mine. It just makes more sense.
The automatic is .2 second faster in the 1/4 than the manual. And its only 8 lbs heavier. MPG is better too I believe and its got 3.73s vs 3.5x rear gear.

for the ppl giving numbers etc... remember the altitude influence the ammount of air getting into your engine, which means... the more altitude u are, the slower ur car is... for example where i live cars usually take like 1 sec more from 0-100kmh than it would take in other places... what i mean is that this test could have been done 2000mts over sea level or even higher!
well I imagine this is the I4 turbo version which hyundai says produces about 210 bhp. if that can pull almost as hard as your v6 altima imagine what the 3.8l v6 can do.

C&D just tested the Genesis sedan 3.8L at 6.0sec 0- 60mph. and the sedan only has 290hp and heavier than the coupe. so i imagine the coupe will run mid 5s at least.

in the same sense you could say upgrade the 3.8 with a turbo or s/c even and watch the 2.0 disapear... goes both ways with modding. It's all about how much money, time, and experience ya got. end of story

you can snag 300+whp with I/H/E on a 6 speed 3.8l and bang for the buck the 3.8l has been proven to be better. it would take more money to add parts and tune the 2.0t to put down the stock power of a 3.8l... now upgrading the turbo would make it easy to pass the 300 mark but that will cost you too...and they already have a 550 hp turbo 3.8l and some 400+hp s/c ones as well... :)

True 'dat. I hate the paddle shifters, myself. Be a man and use a good ol' stick!! But I wouldn't buy the 2.0. There are 3.8 Coupe's that have already been modded (with no direct engine tinkering) to get 500 HP out of them. That's what I'm doing with mine. It just makes more sense.

The automatic is .2 second faster in the 1/4 than the manual. And its only 8 lbs heavier. MPG is better too I believe and its got 3.73s vs 3.5x rear gear.

dude point of the car is to be a fun car that everyone can afford. who doesnt miss driving their fox body mustangs in parking lots and blowing doughnuts? but problem is, when you have kids, settled down, and your paying a mortgage, you dont really have a whole lot of money left for play things, so this is the solution. something wiht some balls, and can be played with but cost effective :)
when you have more money later in life, sure get that corvette you always wanted.

i driven three of them............2.0T and 3.8. I never said it was a bad car, i just think its way overhyped like a lot of new products. Its a good price, but its not gonna revolutionize the auto industry. Are you in Korea? I am guessing that because it is only being sold there first. congrats on the purchase.

its not 300 whp..... i driven gen coupe 3.8. MY 2004 Z car will walk it easily, the 370Z would put it to all hells shame. Gen coupe is ok, but dont overhype it dude. it weighs 3600 pounds man!!!! The gen coupe V6 makes240 Whp.... so are you telling me cold intake and exhaust ads 60hp? I think you exagerate i little too much man. dude factory v6 is 306 hp. somehting liek 311 with premium gas. manufactures dont lie about the numbers on a car. they are wat they are bro. just accept it. but yes i agree its not the same as the 350z(you musta fucked up on that one by putting 370 cuz... any car guy knows its 350z, especially if you own one:). but point is, this is a great car for the price. and still alot of fun to drive. dont doubt it. its a toy:)

I remember my parents talking about Hyundai, and they said it was the most unreliable car comapany ever back in the day and now when my parents see a new Hyundai they just have one word to say: WOW. Hyundai has my respect as well as my parents. I would totally buy a Hyundai but its not an American so I would never buy it.

for the ppl giving numbers etc... remember the altitude influence the ammount of air getting into your engine, which means... the more altitude u are, the slower ur car is... for example where i live cars usually take like 1 sec more from 0-100kmh than it would take in other places... what i mean is that this test could have been done 2000mts over sea level or even higher!

well I imagine this is the I4 turbo version which hyundai says produces about 210 bhp. if that can pull almost as hard as your v6 altima imagine what the 3.8l v6 can do.

Uhhhh my 07 v6 altima pulls harder and gets too 60mph (100kmh) in 6 seconds flat i even got 5.8 befor. so how dose a 300+hp coupe only pull a 7.1? I was thinking about trading my altia for a genesis coupe but i dont know now.

C&D just tested the Genesis sedan 3.8L at 6.0sec 0- 60mph. and the sedan only has 290hp and heavier than the coupe. so i imagine the coupe will run mid 5s at least.
